Juan Carlos Navarro (basketball)
Juan Carlos Navarro Feijoo, commonly known as either Juan Carlos Navarro or J. C. Navarro (born June 13, 1980), is a Spanish former professional basketball player. During his playing career, at a height of tall, he played at the shooting guard position. On March 14, 2014, he was named a EuroLeague Basketball Legend. He is the current team manager of FC Barcelona Bàsquet. During his pro club career, Navarro was a two-time EuroLeague champion, in 2003 and 2010. He was also named the EuroLeague MVP in 2009, the EuroLeague Final Four MVP in 2010, and was selected as a member of the EuroLeague 2001–10 All-Decade Team. As the captain of the senior national team of Spain, Navarro notably won, among other medals, a FIBA World Cup gold medal in 2006, two Summer Olympics silver medals in 2008 and 2012, as well as two EuroBasket gold medals in 2009 and 2011. Spain Men's National Basketball Team
The Spain men's national basketball team ( es, Selección Española de Baloncesto) represents Spain in international basketball competitions. They are managed by the Spanish Basketball Federation, the governing body for basketball in Spain. Spain is the current World and European champion. Spain has appeared 32 times at the EuroBasket, winning four gold medals, six silver medals, and four bronze medals. They have also competed at the Summer Olympics 13 times, with three silver medals and one bronze medal as their accomplishments. 2010 EuroLeague Final Four
The 2010 Euroleague Final Four was the concluding EuroLeague Final Four tournament that determined the winner of the 2009–10 Euroleague season. It was held at the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy, Paris, France on May 7 and 9, 2010. The 2012–13 Euroleague was the 13th season of the modern era of Euroleague Basketball and the third under the title sponsorship of the Turkish Airlines. Including the competition's previous incarnation as the FIBA Europe Champions Cup, this was the 56th season of the premier competition for European men's clubs. All-EuroLeague
The All-EuroLeague Team is an EuroLeague awards, award for European professional club basketball system, Europe's premier level league, the EuroLeague, that is given to the league's top ten basketball players for each season, since the 2000–01 season. During the FIBA Europe, FIBA era of the EuroLeague, players were honored first by being a part of the FIBA Festival, and later by being selected to the FIBA EuroStars. EuroLeague Top Scorer
The Alphonso Ford EuroLeague Top Scorer Trophy, also known as the EuroLeague Best Scorer, is an annual basketball EuroLeague awards, award of European professional club basketball system, Europe's premier level league, the EuroLeague, Turkish Airlines EuroLeague. It is given to the Top Scorer throughout the EuroLeague season, up until the EuroLeague Final Four, Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four stage of the season. The award, under its current name, began in the Euroleague 2004-05, 2004–05 season, and is named after the late Alphonso Ford, who was one of the greatest scorers in EuroLeague history. Since the Alphonso Ford award has been given out (2004–05 season onward), a player could average the most points during the EuroLeague full season competition, and not win the award, since it is only counted for games up to the EuroLeague Final Four.
