2002–03 Top 16 Season
The 2002-03 Top 16 season was the top level of French club rugby in 2002-03.The competition was played by 16 team. In the first phase, two pool of 8 was Played. The first 4 of each pool was admitted to the "top 8", the tournament for the title, the other to a relegation tournament. Stade Chaban-Delmas is a sporting stadium located in the city of Bordeaux, France. It was the home ground of FC Girondins de Bordeaux. Yannick Jauzion (born 28 July 1978 in Castres) is a French former rugby union footballer. Raised in Vénès, Tarn he played at centre for Stade Toulousain and the France national team. During the 2000's, Jauzion was regarded as one of the best centres in the world, if not the best inside centre the Northern hemisphere has seen during the pro era. The Stade de la Mosson () is a football stadium in Montpellier, France. It is the home of Ligue 1 club Montpellier HSC, and has a capacity of 32,900. Formerly a 16,000-seater stadium, it was entirely rebuilt in 1998 to host 6 games of the 1998 FIFA World Cup.
