2002–03 FIBA Europe Champions Cup
The 2002–03 FIBA Europe Champions Cup was the first edition of Europe's 4th-tier level transnational competition for men's professional basketball clubs, the FIBA Europe Champions Cup, following the merger of the FIBA Korać Cup and FIBA Saporta Cup competitions into the new ULEB Cup competition. compID= In this first edition of the competition, it was actually the 3rd-tier level on the European club basketball pyramid. The season consisted of 64 teams. The Greek club Aris Thessaloniki won the title, after beating the Polish club Prokom Trefl Sopot in the Final, which was held at Alexandreio Melathron, in Thessaloniki, Greece. 2001–02 FIBA Korać Cup
The last, 31st edition of the FIBA Korać Cup occurred between September 25, 2001 and April 17, 2002. The tournament was won by Nancy, who beat Lokomotiv Rostov in the final. The competition was replaced with FIBA Europe Champions Cup in season 2002–2003 and with FIBA EuroChallenge in later seasons. Stal Ostrów Wielkopolski, also known as Arged BM Slam Stal Ostrów Wielkopolski for sponsorship reasons, is a Polish basketball team, based in Ostrów Wielkopolski. They play in the Polish Basketball League (PLK) since its promotion back in 2015. The club won the Polish national championship in 2021 and the Polish Cup in 2019 and 2022. Ovarense Basquetebol is a professional basketball team that plays in Ovar, Portugal. The team plays in the LPB. The Ovarense created its section of basketball in 1970, with the initiative of a member entrepreneur, João Gonçalves, but in this period of time managed to assert itself as one of the standards and the inevitable reference method in Portugal. The 2001–02 Greek Basket League season was the 62nd season of the Greek Basket League, the highest tier professional basketball league in Greece. It was also the 10th season of Greek Basket League championship that was regulated by HEBA (ESAKE). The winner of the league was AEK Athens, which beat Olympiacos in the league's playoff's finals.
