Markis Kido (11 August 1984 – 14 June 2021) was an Indonesian badminton player and one of the world's leading in men's doubles discipline. He won the discipline's gold medal at the 2006 World Cup, 2007 World Championships, 2008 Olympic Games, 2009 Asia Championships, and 2010 Asian Games with Hendra Setiawan. Career In 2005, with Hendra Setiawan, he won the Asian Badminton Championships and the Indonesia Open. In 2006, the pair also won the Jakarta Satellite, the Hong Kong Open and the China Open after defeating Cai Yun and Fu Haifeng 21–16, 21–16 at the finals. Rian Sukmawan
Rian Sukmawan (21 November 1985 – 27 February 2016) was a professional badminton player from Indonesia. Career Sukmawan was a doubles specialist. In 2006, he won the men's doubles at the Dutch and New Zealand Opens with fellow countryman Eng Hian. In 2007, he won the Dutch Open again with partner Yonathan Suryatama Dasuki. Death Rian Sukmawan died on 27 February 2016 of a heart attack after playing in an exhibition match in Semarang with some former players, including Tri Kusharjanto. According to Kusharjanto, Sukmawan went outside for some rest before a security guard found him laying on a bench outside the arena alone and asking for help. He was rushed to hospital, but was declared dead on arrival. Joko Riyadi
Joko Riyadi (born 30 June 1985) is an Indonesian badminton player affiliated with Jaya Raya Jakarta club. Career Riyadi played men's doubles with Hendra Aprida Gunawan. They were bronze medalists at the 2005 Asian Badminton Championships, runners-up at the 2006 Dutch Open, and bronze medalists at the 2007 Southeast Asian Games. At the 2007 BWF World Championships they were seeded #14 and were defeated in the third round by Guo Zhendong and Xie Zhongbo, of China, 22–20, 16–21, 21–16. Hendra Setiawan (born 25 August 1984) is an Indonesian badminton player. He is an Olympic Games gold medalist, four-time World Champion, two-time Asian Games gold medalist, and two-time All England champion. With these achievements, Setiawan has collected all major individual titles in badminton. He is considered to be one of the greatest men's doubles players in badminton history. Simon Santoso (born 29 July 1985) is an Indonesian former badminton player. He was two-time Southeast Asian Games men's singles champion winning in 2009 and 2011, also featured in Indonesia team that won the men's team title in 2003, 2007, 2009, and 2011. Lee Yun-hwa
Lee Yun-hwa (; born 14 November 1985) is a South Korean badminton player. Born in Wonju, Gangwon province, Lee started playing badminton at aged nine. She educated at the Bukwon girls' middle school, after that in Yubong girls' high school. Lee joined the national team when she was 15 and trained at the Taeneung national training center. In the junior event, she competed at the Asian Junior Championships, winning a gold medal in the girls' team event in 2001, girls team silver and girls' doubles bronze medal in 2002.
