Second Street (Hong Kong)
Second Street ( Chinese: 第二街) is a street in the Sai Ying Pun area of the Central and Western District on Hong Kong Island, in Hong Kong. The street is part of planned streets in the early development. High Street, Third Street, Second Street and First Street run east to west horizontally on a slope while Centre Street, Western Street and Eastern Street run north to south steeply. Second Street is long. It has alternating one way sections, running east to west from Pok Fu Lam Road to Water Street, and from Eastern Street to Western Street. Between Pok Fu Lam Road and Western Street traffic is from west to east. On the east side of Eastern Street, it continues into Hospital Road. There are 1507 units in the street. Side Lanes Sheung Fung Lane goes up to Third Street and contains a nursing home, a tailor and a curtain shop. Tak Shing Lane goes up hill also. Siglap
Siglap is a neighbourhood located in Bedok in the East Region of Singapore. The area also encompasses the Frankel and Opera Estates and their names have sometimes been used interchangeably to refer to the approximate same area. The planning subzone area of Siglap as defined by the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) is confusingly and inaccurately referred to as the small strip of land between Victoria Junior College and Bedok South Avenue 1. It is a residential area where a majority live in landed homes such as freehold semi-detached houses and bungalows. Some of the land parcels near Siglap Centre have been redeveloped into serviced apartments and condominiums. The few Housing and Development Board flats in Siglap have been demolished in 2015 under the Selective En bloc Redevelopment Scheme. The New York City borough of Manhattan contains 214 numbered east–west streets ranging from 1st to 228th, the majority of them designated in the Commissioners' Plan of 1811. 2nd Street station is a station on the Hudson–Bergen Light Rail (HBLR) located west of Marshall Street near the foot of Paterson Plank Road in Hoboken, New Jersey. There are two tracks and two side platforms. Station layout History The station opened on September 7, 2004. The right of way on which it is situated was originally part of the New York Central New Jersey Junction Railroad, which maintained a station there. It was later used by the Penn Central River Division and the Conrail River Line before being abandoned to make way for the current system. The station is located at the foot of the Hudson Palisades. In 2003, Jersey City agreed with a developer of a nearby factory-to-housing conversion to cover the cost of an outdoor public stairway from Jersey City Heights to the station. 2nd Street station (signed as 2nd Street–Penn's Landing–Old City on platforms) is a subway station on the Market-Frankford Line, beneath the intersection of 2nd Street and Market Street in Center City Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is the easternmost stop in Center City and also the easternmost underground stop on the line. The station serves the Old City neighborhood of Philadelphia, with station signs originally reading "Olde City". The 'e' has been covered on the signs with obvious blue stickers.
