24 (number)
24 (twenty-four) is the natural number following 23 and preceding 25. The SI prefix for 1024 is yotta (Y), and for 10−24 (i.e., the reciprocal of 1024) yocto (y). These numbers are the largest and smallest number to receive an SI prefix to date. In mathematics 24 is an even composite number, with 2 and 3 as its distinct prime factors. It is the first number of the form 2''q'', where ''q'' is an odd prime. It is the smallest number with exactly eight positive divisors: 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12, and 24; thus, it is a highly composite number, having more divisors than any smaller number. Furthermore, it is an abundant number, since the sum of its proper divisors ( 36) is greater than itself, as well as a superabundant number. In number theory and algebra *24 is the smallest 5- hemiperfect number, as it has a half-integer abundancy index: *:1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 6 + 8 + 12 + 24 = 60 = × 24 *24 is a semiperfect number, since adding up all the proper divisors of 24 ... 24 (puzzle)
The 24 puzzle is an arithmetical puzzle in which the objective is to find a way to manipulate four integers so that the end result is 24. For example, for the numbers 4, 7, 8, 8, a possible solution is (7-(8\div8))\times4=24. The problem has been played as a card game in Shanghai since the 1960s, using playing cards. It has been known by other names, including Maths24. A proprietary version of the game has been created which extends the concept of the basic game to more complex mathematical operations. Original version The original version of 24 is played with an ordinary deck of playing cards with all the face cards removed. The aces are taken to have the value 1 and the basic game proceeds by having 4 cards dealt and the first player that can achieve the number 24 exactly using only allowed operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and parentheses) wins the hand. Some advanced players allow exponentiation, roots, logarithms, and other operations. For shor ... [...More Info...]       [...Related Items...]     OR:     [Wikipedia]   [Google]   [Baidu]   |

Honeymoon (Lana Del Rey Album)

It was released on September 18, 2015, by Polydor Records and Interscope Records, and was produced by Del Rey alongside longtime collaborators Rick Nowels and Kieron Menzies. The album marked a departure from the more guitar-driven instrumentation of Del Rey's previous album '' Ultraviolence'' and a return to the baroque pop of ''Born to Die'' and ''Paradise''. Lyrically, the album touches on themes of tortured romance, resentment, lust, escapism, and violence. Upon release, ''Honeymoon'' received mostly positive reviews from music critics, appearing on the 2015 best albums lists of many publications. At the time of its release, several critics considered the album Del Rey's best album to date. The album debuted at number two on the US ''Billboard'' 200, selling 116,000 units in first week, and peaking at number one in Australia, Greece and Ireland. 24 (Money Man Song)
"24" is a song by American rapper Money Man. It was released on February 21, 2020 as a single from his eighteenth mixtape, ''Epidemic''. A remix version featuring Lil Baby was released on August 14, 2020. Both versions and the song's title itself serve as tributes to basketball player Kobe Bryant, who died in a helicopter crash in January 2020. Composition The bass-heavy track starts off with Money Man paying his respect to Kobe Bryant. He further "flexes his status as an independent artist", accentuating his "lavish" lifestyle, including the diamonds on his chains and the expensive cars he rides around. Aron A. of ''HotNewHipHop'' gave the song a ''HOTTTTT'' rating and said: "The rapper's hustler's mentality informs each bar he spits. It could be a light flex or a moment of introspection but Money Man drops jewels and gems throughout his music". Remix The official "24" remix with Lil Baby was released on August 14, 2020 and included on the deluxe edition of Money Man's ''Epid ... West and KayCyy wrote it alongside Brian Miller, Ojivolta, and Warryn Campbell. The song is titled after the jersey number of Kobe Bryant, for whom it was recorded shortly after his death in January 2020. While the song did experience different reiterations over time, West had written its melody a day before Bryant died. A gospel song that includes church organ stabs, it is a tribute to Bryant. Music critics generally commended West's vocal performance on "24" and some welcomed the song's gospel style, while a few critics highlighted the Sunday Service Choir's contributions. 24 (Game Theory Song)
''Real Nighttime'' is the second full-length album from Game Theory, a California power pop band founded by guitarist and singer-songwriter Scott Miller. Released in 1985, the album is cited as "a watershed work in '80s paisley underground pop." A 30th anniversary reissue was released in March 2015, on CD and in a limited first pressing on red vinyl, with 13 bonus tracks. The album was the group's first to be produced by Mitch Easter, who continued as the producer of subsequent Game Theory albums through the rest of the 1980s. Background ''Real Nighttime'' was the last of Game Theory's albums to be recorded by the band's Davis, California-based line-up, a quartet fronted by Scott Miller on guitar and lead vocals. According to rock critic Mark Deming, "while Miller was clearly the leader of this band, the outstanding percussion work from Dave Gill, the evocative keyboards from Nan Becker, and the solid, propulsive bass of Fred Juhos played an invaluable role in making these songs w ... 24 (album)
''24'' is the first greatest hits album by contemporary Christian music group Point of Grace. It was released in 2003 by Word Records. The album title refers to the group's 24 consecutive #1 hits on the ''Billboard'' Contemporary Christian Songs chart. One new song was recorded for the album: "Day by Day," which was founding member Terry Jones' final recording with the group, prior to her departure in 2004, when she was replaced by Leigh Cappillino. The album was originally released in a digipak with only the words "Point of Grace" and "24" on the cover. It was later reissued in a standard 2CD jewel case with a photo of the group added to the cover, then again with a photo including Cappillino, though she does not appear on the album. Two tie-ins to the album were released: a book written by the group, titled ''Keep the Candle Burning: 24 Reflections on Our Favorite Songs'', and a DVD of music videos, titled ''7'' (a play on the phrase "24/7").
