205th Arsenal
The Armaments Bureau () is the affiliated authority of the Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of China. History With the National Defense Law and revised Organization Law of the Ministry of National Defense went into effect on 1 March 2002, the Armaments Bureau was formulated according to the two laws. In 2015 Lieutenant General Ho An-ch replaced the retiring Lieutenant General Chin Shou-feng as director of the Armaments Bureau. In 2020 the Armaments Bureau, along with a number of public and private partners, began developing a powered exoskeleton for military and disaster relief tasks. The program was started because foreign military exoskeleton programs had not yet reached the export stage and as such Taiwan’s requests to procure military exoskeletons had been rebuffed. The T93 (Type 93) Sniper Rifle () is a 7.62×51mm bolt-action rifle designed and manufactured in Taiwan. History It was first shown to the public during the 2007 Taipei Aerospace & Defense Technology Exhibition. The primary organization responsible for the development of this rifle is the 205th Armory, with technical assistance from unspecified domestic and foreign firms. National Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology (NCSIST; ) is a Taiwanese state owned corporation, formerly part of the Republic of China Ministry of National Defense's Armaments Bureau, which is active in the development, manufacturing, support, and sustainment of various weapons systems and dual use technologies. A quadcopter or quadrotor is a type of helicopter with four Helicopter rotor, rotors. T91 Assault Rifle
The T91 () is a gas-operated, magazine-fed, assault rifle produced by the 205th Armory of National Defense in Republic of China (aka Taiwan). It is based on the proven T86 assault rifle, incorporating features from the M16 and AR-18 with more modern features. The T91 is lighter and shorter than the T65 it replaces, and has a 3-position telescoping stock to allow adjustment based on individual requirements. History The T91 was a further development of the T86, which had been intended to replace the T65 series in Taiwanese military service. Jiji, Nantou
Jiji () or Chichi is an urban township located in the west central portion of Nantou County, Taiwan. Jiji is the smallest of Taiwan's townships by area. The township is a popular destination on the Jiji Railway Line. In March 2012, it was named one of the ''Top 10 Small Tourist Towns'' by the Tourism Bureau of Taiwan. History Han Chinese from Zhangzhou began arriving in the area in 1771. The name originates from "Chiv-Chiv", a phrase in the Formosan languages.
