2024–25 Oakland Golden Grizzlies Men's Basketball Team
The 2024–25 Oakland Golden Grizzlies men's basketball team represented Oakland University during the 2024–25 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Golden Grizzlies, led by 41st-year head coach Greg Kampe, will played their home games at the OU Credit Union O'rena in Auburn Hills, Michigan as members of the Horizon League. Greg Kampe
Greg Charles Kampe (; born December 9, 1955) is an American college basketball coach and the current head men's basketball coach at Oakland University. He guided the Oakland Golden Grizzlies men's basketball, Golden Grizzlies to their first NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Championship, NCAA Division I tournament in 2005 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament, 2005, winning in the First Four round. Kampe, a member of the Michigan Sports Hall of Fame, is one of nine Division I basketball coaches who have been at the same school for at least 25 seasons. Kampe won The Summit League's coach of the year four times, the most recent being in 2010 and 2011. Kampe won his 500th career game January 26, 2013. Tennessee State Tigers Basketball
The Tennessee State Tigers basketball team represents Tennessee State University (TSU) in Nashville, Tennessee, United States. The school's team currently competes in the NCAA Division I's Ohio Valley Conference. They play their home games at the Gentry Complex and are led by sixth-year head coach Brian "Penny" Collins. While they were a member of the NAIA, they were three time national champions (1957, 1958, 1959). The 2023–24 Kentucky Wildcats men's basketball team represented the University of Kentucky during the 2023–24 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Wildcats, who are founding members of the Southeastern Conference, played their home games at Rupp Arena and were led by John Calipari in his 15th and final season as head coach for the Wildcats. The Kentucky Wildcats men's basketball team drew an average home attendance of 19,928 in 2023–24, the 3rd highest in college basketball. The Wildcats were ranked as one of the best three-point shooting teams throughout the season.
