Since the beginning of the 2007–08 season the club no longer plays its home games in Taunusstein, where they were originally located. Meidericher Spielverein 02 e. V. Duisburg, commonly known as MSV Duisburg, is a German women's football club based in Duisburg, North Rhine-Westphalia. The club plays in the Bundesliga, the top tier of German women's football. History The women's football section of MSV Duisburg was founded in 2014. It is the successor club of FCR 2001 Duisburg which went into insolvency the year before. They played in the second level 2. FC Carl Zeiss Jena is a German women's football club from Jena, Thuringia. The club currently plays in the Bundesliga, the highest level of women's football in Germany. Carl Zeiss Jena played regional women's football since 2016/17 but became more prominent, when it merged with FF USV Jena in 2020. SC Freiburg II
SC Freiburg II is the reserve team of German association football club SC Freiburg, based in Freiburg, Baden-Württemberg. The team played as SC Freiburg Amateure until 2005. The team has reached the first round of the DFB-Pokal, the German Cup, once, in 2001–02. They were promoted to the 3. Liga for the first time in 2021, after winning the Regionalliga Südwest. History The club's reserve team for the most part of its history played in the lower amateur leagues. It made a three-season appearance in the tier four Verbandsliga Südbaden from 1983 to 1986, with a third place in 1985 as its best result, but then took until 1994 to return to this league. Hallescher FC, sometimes still called by its former popular name Chemie Halle, is a German association football club based in Halle an der Saale, Saxony-Anhalt. The club currently plays in the 3. Hannover 96 II is a German association football team from the city of Hannover, Lower Saxony. It is the reserve team of Hannover 96.
