SC Freiburg II is the reserve team of German association football club SC Freiburg, based in Freiburg, Baden-Württemberg. The team played as SC Freiburg Amateure until 2005. The team has reached the first round of the DFB-Pokal, the German Cup, once, in 2001–02. They were promoted to the 3. Liga for the first time in 2021, after winning the Regionalliga Südwest. History The club's reserve team for the most part of its history played in the lower amateur leagues. It made a three-season appearance in the tier four Verbandsliga Südbaden from 1983 to 1986, with a third place in 1985 as its best result, but then took until 1994 to return to this league. SpVgg 07 Elversberg is a German association football club, located in Spiesen-Elversberg, Saarland. History The club was founded in 1907 as ''FC Germania Elversberg''. It was dissolved in 1914, but then re-constituted in 1918 as ''Sportvereinigung VfB Elversberg'', spending a season in the tier-one Kreisliga Saar in 1921–22. Andi Hoti (born 2 March 2003) is a professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for German club SC Freiburg II, on loan from Italian club Inter Milan. The Regionalliga () is the fourth tier in the German football league system. Until 1974, it was the second tier in Germany. In 1994, it was introduced as the third tier. The 2020–21 Regionalliga was the 13th season of the Regionalliga, the ninth under the new format, as the fourth tier of the German football league system. Format A new promotion format was decided on in 2019. From this season onward, the Regionalliga Südwest and West receive a fixed promotion spot. The 2019–20 Regionalliga was the twelfth season of the Regionalliga, the eighth under the new format, as the fourth tier of the German football league system. The 2018–19 Regionalliga is the eleventh season of the Regionalliga, the seventh under the new format, as the fourth tier of the German football league system.
