2024 United States Women's Curling Championship
The 2024 United States Women's Curling Championship was held from January 29 to February 4 at The Rink at American Dream in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The event was held in conjunction with the 2024 United States Men's Curling Championship. The winning Tabitha Peterson rink represented the United States at the 2024 World Women's Curling Championship at Centre 200 in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada. Team Peterson also earned the first berth into the 2025 United States Olympic Curling Trials. Taylor Anderson (curler)
Taylor Anderson (born February 25, 1995) is an American curler from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Along with her twin sister Sarah, she was United States National Champion in 2019 and World Junior silver medalist in 2016. Curling career Juniors Anderson was a member of Team USA at the 2012 Winter Youth Olympics, playing lead on the team, which was skipped by Korey Dropkin. They finished in fifth place. In the mixed doubles event, Anderson was paired with Great Britain's Duncan Menzies. The pair were eliminated in the quarterfinals. Anderson was the alternate for Team USA (skipped by Cory Christensen) at the 2015 World Junior Curling Championships. The team finished in 5th place, and Anderson played in two games. Curl Mesabi Classic
The Curl Mesabi Classic (previously known as the Curl Mesabi Cash Spiel (2007, 2010-2011), Iron Trail Motors Shoot-Out @ Curl Mesabi (2012) and the Super One Shoot-out @ Curl Mesabi (2008)) is an annual bonspiel, or curling tournament, that takes place at Curl Mesabi's venue, the Range Recreation and Civic Center, in Eveleth, Minnesota. The tournament is held in a round-robin format. The men's tournament, started c. 2003, and joined the World Curling Tour in 2007. Women were allowed to participate in the men's tournament until 2011, when a separate women's tournament was created. The women's event was not held in 2013. The 2023 World Junior-B Curling Championships were held from December 8 to 19 at the Kisakallio Sports Institute in Lohja, Finland. Delaney Strouse
Delaney Strouse (born July 12, 2000) is an American curler from Midland, Michigan. She currently skips her own team out of Traverse City. She is a two-time champion of the United States Junior Curling Championships, going on to win the bronze medal at the 2022 World Junior Curling Championships and the 2023 Winter World University Games. Career Strouse made her first appearance at the international level representing Michigan at the 2016 U18 International Curling Championships. 2023 Pan Continental Curling Championships
The 2023 Pan Continental Curling Championships were held from October 29 to November 4 at the Kelowna Curling Club in Kelowna, British Columbia. The event was used to qualify teams for the 2024 World Curling Championships. Both men's and women's events consisted of an A Division and B Division.
