2024 São Paulo EPrix
The 2024 São Paulo ePrix was the fourth race of the 2023–24 Formula E World Championship, held on 16 March 2024. It was the second edition of the São Paulo ePrix. The race was held on the São Paulo Street Circuit, around the Anhembi Sambadrome. The ePrix was won by Sam Bird for McLaren with a dramatic final lap overtake around the outside of Jaguar driver Mitch Evans. A double overtake at the final corner for Nissan driver Oliver Rowland ensured that he completed the podium. Bird's win was his first Formula E race victory since the 2021 New York City ePrix, and the first ever Formula E victory for McLaren. Background Nick Cassidy entered the race as the leader in the Drivers' Championship with a 19 point lead over Pascal Wehrlein, followed by Jean-Éric Vergne (24 points behind) and defending champion Jake Dennis (29 points behind). The São Paulo ePrix is a race of the single-seater, electrically powered Formula E championship, held for the first time in São Paulo, Brazil on March 25, 2023. Nico Müller (born 25 February 1992 in Thun) is a Swiss professional racing driver. He is currently competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship for Peugeot Sport. Robin Frijns
Robin Frijns (born 7 August 1991) is a Dutch motor racing driver. He is the 2012 Formula Renault 3.5 Series champion, and the first driver to have won the series in his debut season since Robert Kubica in 2005. Frijns is currently competing in Formula E driving for Team ABT and in the FIA World Endurance Championship for Team WRT. Lucas Tucci di Grassi (born 11 August 1984) is a Brazilian professional racing driver who competes in the FIA Formula E World Championship for Mahindra Racing. He became the FIA Formula E Champion in 2016–2017, achieved three overall podiums at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and won the Macau Grand Prix in 2005.
