2024 French Open – Men's Doubles
Marcelo Arévalo and Mate Pavić defeated Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori in the final, 7–5, 6–3 to win the men's doubles tennis title at the 2024 French Open. It was Arévalo's second major men's doubles title and Pavić's fourth. Pavić completed the career Golden Slam in men's doubles with the win, having previously won the other three majors and the Olympic gold medal. Ivan Dodig and Austin Krajicek were the defending champions, but lost in the second round to Petros and Stefanos Tsitsipas. Matthew Ebden regained the ATP No. 1 doubles ranking after the pair of Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos lost in the semifinals. Joe Salisbury and Wesley Koolhof were also in contention for the top ranking at the beginning of the tournament. Marcelo Arévalo González (; born October 17, 1990) is a Salvadoran professional tennis player. He has been ranked as high as world No. 5 in doubles by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), which he first achieved on 14 November 2022. Together with his career-high singles ranking of world No. 139, attained in April 2018, Arévalo is the highest-ranked player, male or female, across both disciplines in Salvadoran tennis history. He has won six career ATP Tour doubles titles, including a Grand Slam title at the 2022 French Open with partner Jean-Julien Rojer. Joe Salisbury ( ; born 20 April 1992) is a British professional tennis player who is a former world No. 1 in doubles. He is a five-time Grand Slam champion, having won the 2020 Australian Open, the 2021 US Open and the 2022 US Open in men's doubles, partnering Rajeev Ram. Andreas Mies (; born 21 August 1990) is a German professional tennis player who specialises in doubles. He is a two-time Grand Slam champion, having won the French Open doubles title in both 2019 and 2020 alongside compatriot Kevin Krawietz.
