2024 Ettan
The 2024 Ettan, part of the 2024 Swedish football season is the 19th season of Sweden's third-tier football league in its current format. The season started on 29 March 2023 and ended on 10 November 2024. Teams 32 teams contest the league divided into two divisions, Norra and Södra. 22 returning from the 2023 season, three relegated from Superettan and seven promoted from Division 2. The champion of each division will qualify directly for promotion to Superettan, while the two runners-up compete in a play-off against the thirteenth and fourteenth teams from Superettan Superettan (; meaning the super first (division)) is an association football league and the second highest league in the league system of Swedish men's football. Ettan Fotboll, or simply Ettan ( en, the one), which also is its common name in everyday speech, is the third level in the Swedish football league system and consists of 32 Swedish football teams. It was formerly simply known as ''Division 1''. Division 1 was the second tier from 1987 to 1999, but was replaced by Superettan in 2000. It was reestablished for the 2006 season as the third tier below Superettan. Friska Viljor FC
Friska Viljor FC is a Swedish football club located in Örnsköldsvik in Örnsköldsvik Municipality, Västernorrland County. Background The club was formed in February 1994 but was previously the football section of the multi-sport club IF Friska Viljor. From 1995 to 1998 the new club progressed through the league system from Division 6 to Division 2. In 2003 the club won Division 2 Norrland and then participated in the promotion play-offs. Piteå Idrottsförening, commonly known as Piteå IF, is a Swedish football club located in Piteå that currently competes in Sweden's top-division women's league, Damallsvenskan. In 2018, they won the Swedish national Championship for the first time. IF Sylvia is a Swedish football club based in Norrköping. The club, formed on 19 May 1922, is currently playing in the third tier of Swedish football, Division 1. The club is affiliated to the Östergötlands Fotbollförbund. In the early years, the club was also playing bandy and other sports.
