Background Nordic United FC was founded in 2004 as Assyriska FF Babylon. Changes in identity have been the norm in recent years with the club being known as Södertälje FC, Assyriska United IK, Södertälje FK / Assyriska United IK, United IK and United IK Nordic. In 2013, the club took over the team Assyriska Botkyrka (the youth team of Assyriska FF) and played for many years after that in Botkyrka. In 2022, the club changed its name to Nordic United FC. Ettan Fotboll, or simply Ettan ( en, the one), which also is its common name in everyday speech, is the third level in the Swedish football league system and consists of 32 Swedish football teams. It was formerly simply known as ''Division 1''. Division 1 was the second tier from 1987 to 1999, but was replaced by Superettan in 2000. It was reestablished for the 2006 season as the third tier below Superettan. Dejan Garača (born July 21, 1991) is a Swedish football player who plays as a goalkeeper for Nordic United FC. Club career Born in Örebro, Garača played for BK Forward before he joined Malmö FF in 2008. During his time at the club he acted as third choice goalkeeper behind Johan Dahlin and Dušan Melichárek.
