The 2024 Dutch Open (officially referred to as the 2024 TOTO Dutch Open Darts) was the 51st edition of the Dutch Open organised by the World Darts Federation and Nederlandse Darts Bond. The tournament was held at the De Bonte Wever in Assen, Netherlands. The final day of the tournament was broadcast on RTL7. Matches could also be followed via the DartConnect application software. Berry van Peer was defending his men's title, but could not defend his title after winning a PDC Tourcard. Aileen de Graaf was defending her women's title, but lost in the final match to Beau Greaves who won her second title of this tournament. Prize money Men's Seeds Seeding took place in accordance of the WDF Main Table. The players were seeded in accordance with WDF regulations, but not always as the first match in the section. De Bonte Wever (formerly De Smelt) is a sports arena located in Assen, Netherlands. De venue opened in the 1970s with a 400-meter speed skating track. World Darts Federation
The World Darts Federation (WDF) is a sport governing body and (along with the PDC) a tournament organiser for the game of darts. It was formed in 1974 by representatives of the original fourteen founding members. Membership is open to the national organizing body for darts in all nations. The WDF encourages the promotion of the sport of darts among and between those bodies, in an effort to gain international recognition for darts as a major sport. A set in darts consists of a sequence of legs (games) played, ending when the count of legs won meets certain criteria. Beau Greaves was defending her women's title, but lost in the final match to Aileen de Graaf who won fourth title of this tournament.
