2024 Australian Open – Men's Doubles
Rohan Bopanna and Matthew Ebden defeated Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori in the final, 7–6(7–0), 7–5 to win the men's doubles tennis title at the 2024 Australian Open. It was Bopanna's first major title in doubles, and Ebden's second. Bopanna became the oldest man in the Open Era to win a major title. Rinky Hijikata and Jason Kubler were the defending champions, but lost in the second round to Yannick Hanfmann and Dominik Koepfer. Bopanna attained the ATP No. 1 doubles ranking for the first time by reaching the semifinals, and in doing so became the oldest first-time No.1 in history. Austin Krajicek, Rajeev Ram, Wesley Koolhof, Neal Skupski, Édouard Roger-Vasselin and Horacio Zeballos were also in contention at the start of the tournament. Rohan Bopanna
Rohan Bopanna ( ; born 4 March 1980) is an Indian professional tennis player. His tennis singles, singles career-high ranking was world No. 213 in 2007 and his career-high ranking in doubles was world No. 3 on 22 July 2013. He has been a member of the Indian Davis Cup team since 2002. Bopanna partnered with Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi in doubles in 2007. The duo, nicknamed the ''IndoPak Express'', went on to win four Challenger titles in quick succession. However, it was only in the 2010 season that the pair broke into the top-ten doubles teams. That year, they reached the quarterfinals at The Championships, Wimbledon, Wimbledon, finished runners-up in the 2010 US Open (tennis), US Open and in five ATP Tour events, and won the Joburg Open, Johannesburg Open. Wesley Koolhof
Wesley Koolhof (; born 17 April 1989) is a Dutch professional tennis player who specialises in doubles. He achieved his career-high doubles ranking of world No. 1 in doubles on 7 November 2022. He has won 14 doubles titles on the ATP Tour, most notably the 2020 ATP Finals with Mektić, the 2022 Madrid Masters, the 2022 Canadian Open and the 2022 Paris Masters partnering Neal Skupski. He has finished runner-up at a further 19 ATP tournaments, including two times at the US Open and four at Masters 1000 level. Kevin Krawietz
Kevin Krawietz (born 24 January 1992) is a German professional tennis player who specialises in doubles. He is a two-time Grand Slam champion, having won the French Open doubles title in both 2019 and 2020 alongside compatriot Andreas Mies. The pair were also semifinalists at the 2019 US Open. Krawietz reached the mixed doubles semifinals at the 2021 Wimbledon Championships and 2022 French Open, partnering Květa Peschke and Nicole Melichar-Martinez respectively, and has qualified for the ATP Finals on three occasions.
