2023–24 Women's Big Bash League Season
The 2023–24 Women's Big Bash League season or WBBL, 09 (also known as Weber Inc., Weber Women's Big Bash League 2023 for sponsorship reasons) was the ninth season of the Women's Big Bash League (WBBL), the semi-professional women's cricket, women's Twenty20 domestic cricket competition in Australia. The tournament was played from 19 October 2023, with the final held on 2 December 2023. Adelaide Strikers (WBBL), Adelaide Strikers, the defending champions, won the tournament, defeating Brisbane Heat (WBBL), Brisbane Heat in the final. The Sydney Sixers (WBBL) are an Australian women's Twenty20 cricket team based in Moore Park, New South Wales, Moore Park, New South Wales. Allan Border Field
Allan Border Field is a cricket ground in the Brisbane suburb of Albion in Queensland. The Australian Cricket Academy has been based at the oval since 2004, using it as a base for the development of elite cricketers throughout Australia. It was formerly known as ''Neumann Oval'' and was home to the Fortitude Valley Diehards rugby league team from 1909 until 1995. The oval was named for Fred "Firpo" Neumann, Valley's club captain (and later president) and Queensland and Australian representative footballer. Karen Rolton Oval is a cricket ground in Adelaide, South Australia, named after the Australian former cricketer Karen Rolton. It is located near the corner of West Terrace and Port Road, opposite the new Royal Adelaide Hospital, in the eastern end of Park 25 of the Adelaide Park Lands.
