2023–24 Cypriot First Division
The 2023–24 Cypriot First Division was the 85th season of the Cypriot top-level football league. Aris Limassol were the defending champions, having won their first title in the 2022–23 season. The winners ( APOEL, their twenty-ninth title win) qualified for the second qualifying round of the 2024–25 UEFA Champions League. The 2023–24 Cypriot Cup winners (Pafos) qualified for the first qualifying round of the 2024–25 UEFA Europa League. The runners-up (AEK Larnaca) and third-placed team ( Omonia) qualified for the second qualifying round of the 2024–25 UEFA Conference League. The bottom three teams ( Doxa Katokopias, Othellos Athienou, and AEZ Zakakiou) were relegated to the 2024–25 Cypriot Second Division. Cypriot First Division
The Cypriot First Division (), also known as the Cyprus League by Stoiximan for sponsorship reasons, is a professional association football league in Cyprus and the highest level of the Cypriot football league system. Operated by the Cyprus Football Association, the league is contested by fourteen teams and runs from August to May, with the three lowest-placed teams being relegated to the Cypriot Second Division, and replaced by the top three teams in that division. Karmiotissa Polemidion FC
Karmiotissa Football Club (, ''Karmiotissa Polemidion'') is a Cypriot football club based in Pano Polemidia, Limassol. They currently compete in the Cypriot First Division. The club's colors are orange and white. The original home ground of the football team is the Community Stadium of Pano Polemidia. In the season 22-23 they mostly played in Stelios Kyriakides Stadium in Paphos.The club's name comes from the chapel of Virgin Mary Karmiotissa located in Pano Polemidia. AEL Limassol
Athlitiki Enosi Lemesou () is a Cyprus, Cypriot sports club based in the city of Limassol, most famous for its football team. AEL Limassol also maintains a AEL Limassol B.C., men's and AEL Limassol B.C. (women), women's basketball teams, a women's volleyball team and a (newly established in 1976) Futsal team, a women's handball team as well as a cricket team. Nea Salamis Famagusta FC (alternatively Nea Salamina, ) is a Cyprus, Cypriot professional Association football, football Sports club, club based in Ammochostos (also known by its Romanization of Greek, romanized name, Famagusta).
