2023–24 Cleveland Cavaliers Season
The 2023–24 Cleveland Cavaliers season was the 54th season for the franchise in the National Basketball Association (NBA). They entered the season coming off a championship win in the NBA Summer League. The Cavaliers clinched a playoff berth on April 12, following a 129–120 win over the Indiana Pacers. In the playoffs, they beat the Orlando Magic in seven games in the first round, advancing to the semifinals for the first time without LeBron James since drafting him. However, they were eliminated by the eventual NBA champion Boston Celtics in five games in the second round. Draft The Cavaliers entered the draft with a second round pick. Mike Gansey
Michael Gansey (born December 21, 1982) is an American professional basketball executive and former player who is currently the general manager for the Cleveland Cavaliers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He previously served as assistant general manager for the Cavaliers and general manager for the Cavaliers' NBA G League affiliate, the Canton (now Cleveland) Charge. High school career Gansey, who grew up in the Cleveland, Ohio suburb of Olmsted Falls, was a three-time All-State player at Olmsted Falls High School, including first-team honors in his final two years. He is the school's all-time leading scorer at 1,909 points for his career. The Eastern Michigan Eagles men's basketball team represents Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Michigan. The team currently competes in the West division of the Mid-American Conference (MAC). Emoni Bates
Emoni James-Wayne Bates (born January 28, 2004) is an American professional basketball player for the Cleveland Cavaliers of the National Basketball Association (NBA), on a two-way contract with the Cleveland Charge of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the Memphis Tigers and the Eastern Michigan Eagles. In his first two years of high school, Bates played basketball for Lincoln High School in his hometown of Ypsilanti, Michigan, where he was heavily touted by the national media and rated as the top recruit in his class. The 2023–24 Orlando Magic season was the 35th season for the franchise in the National Basketball Association. This is Orlando's third season with Jamahl Mosley as head coach. With a win over the Detroit Pistons on March 3, the Magic would collect their 35th win on the season and improve on their win total from their previous season.
