2023 Washington Commanders Season
The 2023 season was the Washington Commanders' 92nd season in the National Football League (NFL) and their fourth and final under head coach Ron Rivera. It was the first season under owner Josh Harris, who headed a group in the offseason that bought the franchise from Daniel Snyder for $6.05 billion. The team replaced offensive coordinator Scott Turner, who joined the team in 2020, with former Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy, who was also named assistant head coach. Defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio and defensive backs coach Brent Vieselmeyer were fired following a 10–45 loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving. The National Football Conference – Eastern Division or NFC East is one of the four Division (sport), divisions of the National Football Conference (NFC) in the National Football League (NFL). The 1991 NFL season, 1991 season was the Washington Redskins' 60th in the National Football League (NFL), their 55th representing Washington, D.C. and the eleventh under List of Washington Redskins head coaches, head coach Joe Gibbs. The 2023 season is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' 48th in the National Football League (NFL), their tenth under the leadership of general manager Jason Licht and their second under head coach Todd Bowles. 2005 Washington Redskins Season
The 2005 season was the Washington Redskins' 74th in the National Football League and the second season under head coach Joe Gibbs. The team improved on their 6–10 record from 2004 and finished 10–6. The Redskins placed 2nd in the NFC East. Washington earned their first playoff berth since 1999.
