2023 Stu Sells Tankard
The 2023 Stu Sells Tankard was held from October 5 to 9 at the Barrie Curling Club in Barrie, Ontario. The event was held in a round-robin format with a purse of $30,000 on the men's side and $21,000 on the women's side. It was the second Stu Sells sponsored event held as part of the 2023–24 season. In the men's final, Japan's Yusuke Morozumi led his team of Yuta Matsumura, Ryotaro Shukuya, Masaki Iwai and Kosuke Morozumi to a triumphant 8–2 victory over South Korea's Jeong Byeong-jin. Morozumi opened the game with a count of five in the opening end. Jeong replied with two in the second before the Japanese answered back with three in third to bring the game to an early close. The Morozumi rink finished 3–1 through the round robin and scored playoff wins over Marco Hösli and Mike Fournier to reach the final. Barrie

Kim Yeong-mi
Kim Yeong-mi, nicknamed "Pancake" (born March 10, 1991) is a South Korean curler. She was the lead, but now is the alternate on Team Kim Eun-jung. The Kim team represented South Korea at the 2018 Winter Olympics, where they won a silver medal. Career While still a junior curler, Kim first represented her country at the women's level at the 2012 Pacific-Asia Curling Championships, playing third for Kim Eun-jung, who she also played with in juniors. There, the team won a bronze medal. The team returned to the event in 2014, where they won a bronze medal. Wang Rui (curler)
Wang Rui (; ; born February 9, 1995 in Harbin) is a Chinese curler. She currently plays third on Team Han Yu, the Chinese National Women's Curling Team. Career Juniors Wang represented China in four Pacific-Asia Junior Curling Championships, playing second for the team in 2011 and 2012 and third for the team in 2014 and 2015. The team would finish in 4th place in 2011, win a bronze in 2012, and silver in 2014 and 2015. Sayaka Yoshimura
is a Japanese curler from Sapporo, Hokkaido. She is the skip of the FORTIUS curling team, which won the Japan Curling Championships in both 2015 and 2021. At the international level, she has represented Japan twice at the World Women's Curling Championship (, ) and two Pacific-Asia Curling Championships in and , winning the gold medal in 2021. Michael Fournier
Michael "Mike" Fournier (born November 24, 1971) is a Canadian curler originally from Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, Quebec. He currently skips his own team out of Toronto, Ontario. Career Fournier played in his first Quebec Tankard in 2014 at the 2014 Quebec Men's Provincial Curling Championship. His team reached the semifinal where they lost to eventual champions Jean-Michel Ménard. They made it one game further the following year at the 2015 Quebec Men's Provincial Curling Championship, losing in the final to the Ménard rink. Fournier won his first provincial championship at the 2018 WFG Tankard. His team qualified for the playoffs as the fourth seed and won three straight games to claim the provincial title. Marco Hösli
Marco Hösli (born 15 May 2000) is a Swiss curler from Ennenda. He is a two-time World Junior silver medallist. Career Juniors Hösli skipped Team Switzerland, which also included Philipp Hösli, Marco Hefti and Jannis Spiess at the 2019 World Junior Curling Championships. There, he led Switzerland to a 6–3 round robin record. This put them into the playoffs, where they had to play the undefeated Scotland team, skipped by Ross Whyte in the semifinal. Switzerland upset the Scots, putting them into the final against Canada, skipped by Tyler Tardi. Canada beat Switzerland, forcing Hösli and his rink to settle for silver. Stu Sells Tankard
The Stu Sells Tankard, previously known as the Stu Sells Toronto Tankard, is an annual bonspiel, or curling tournament, that takes place at the Barrie Curling Club in Barrie, Ontario. The event is held in a round-robin format, however, was held in a triple-knockout format for many years. The tournament is sponsored by Stu Sells, a local real estate company, and is part of the "Stu Sells Series" or events, which includes the Stu Sells Oakville Tankard, the Stu Sells 1824 Halifax Classic, and a number of other junior and local tour events. The men's event became a World Curling Tour event in 2011, but was later discontinued after the 2019 edition. The women's event became a World Curling Tour event in 2016, but was also discontinued in 2020. Both the men's and women's events are also part of the Ontario Curling Tour. The 2022 Stu Sells Toronto Tankard was held from September 29 to October 2 at the High Park Club in Toronto, Ontario. The event was held in a triple knockout format with a purse of $40,000 on the men's side and $20,000 on the women's side. It was the first Stu Sells sponsored event held as part of the 2022–23 season. In the men's event, Sweden's Niklas Edin rink continued their strong play from the 2022 Oslo Cup. After starting with an opening draw loss, the team of Edin, Oskar Eriksson, Rasmus Wranå and Christoffer Sundgren won six straight games to claim the championship title. In the final, they defeated Norway's Magnus Ramsfjell 7–3 with a score of three points in the eighth end. To advance to the final, Edin won 5–4 over Switzerland's Yannick Schwaller in an extra end semifinal while in the other, Ramsfjell defeated Nova Scotia's Travis Colter 5–2.
