2023 Petit Le Mans
The 2023 Petit Le Mans (known as the 2023 Motul (company), MOTUL Petit Le Mans for sponsorship reasons) was the 26th running of the Petit Le Mans, and was held on October 14, 2023. The event was the 11th and final round in the 2023 IMSA SportsCar Championship, and the fourth round of the 2023 Michelin Endurance Cup. The race was held at Road Atlanta in Braselton, Georgia. Wayne Taylor Racing with Andretti Autosport began from pole position after Louis Delétraz set the fastest lap in the GTP class. The lead was exchanged several times between the Chip Ganassi Racing, Cadillac Racing, WTR, Action Express Racing, Whelen Engineering Racing, Meyer Shank Racing, and Team Penske, Porsche Penske Motorsport teams. Renger van der Zande (born 16 February 1986) is a Dutch racing driver who currently competes in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship for Chip Ganassi Racing. He is the son of the 1978 National Dutch Rallycross Champion Ronald van der Zande.
