2023 Nottingham Open
The 2023 Nottingham Open (also known as the Rothesay Open Nottingham for sponsorship purposes) was a professional tennis tournament played on outdoor grass courts. It was the 15th edition of the event for women and the 27th edition for men. It was classified as a WTA 250 on the 2023 WTA Tour for the women, and as an ATP Challenger Tour event for the men. WTA 250 Tournaments
WTA 250 tournaments is a category of tennis tournaments in the Women's Tennis Association tour, implemented since the reorganization of the schedule in 2021. Earlier these events were classified as WTA International tournaments, WTA International Tournaments. As of 2021, WTA 250 tournaments include events with prize money of approximately $250,000. The ranking points awarded to the winners of these tournaments are 280. This compares to 2,000 points for winning a Grand Slam (tennis), Grand Slam tournament ("major"), up to 1,500 points for winning the WTA Finals, 1000 points for winning a WTA 1000 tournament, and 470 for winning a WTA 500 tournament. This system differs slightly from that used for the men's ATP Tour, which has ATP Tour 250 events with 250 points for the winner (similar to WTA 250 tournaments), and two higher tiers of ATP tournaments offer 1000 and 500 points for winning, respectively. Harriet Dart
Harriet Dart (born 28 July 1996) is a British professional tennis player. Dart entered the WTA top 100 for the first time in March 2022 and achieved her career-high singles ranking of 84 on 25 July 2022. She also has a career-high doubles ranking of No. 92, achieved April 2019. She reached the final of the 2021 Wimbledon Championships in mixed doubles with Joe Salisbury. Chung Hyeon
Chung Hyeon (; ; born 19 May 1996) is a South Korean professional tennis player. He is the 2017 Next Gen Finals champion. As an unseeded player, he became the first Korean player to reach a Grand Slam semifinal at the 2018 Australian Open.
