The 2023 New England Revolution II season was the fourth season in the Association football, soccer team's history, where they competed in the third division of United States soccer league system, American soccer, MLS Next Pro. New England Revolution II, as a child club of New England Revolution of Major League Soccer, were barred from participating in the 2023 U.S. Open Cup. New England Revolution II played their home games at Gillette Stadium, located in Foxborough, Massachusetts, United States. New England Revolution II is a professional soccer club based in the Greater Boston area that competes in the MLS Next Pro, the third division of American soccer. The team is owned by, and operates as the reserve team of the Major League Soccer club New England Revolution. The team plays at Gillette Stadium. The team was announced as a member of League One on October 9, 2019. History On October 9, 2019, the New England Revolution announced the formation of a reserve team in USL League One that would begin play in the 2020 season and that they would play at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough. On November 25, 2019, the club announced its first manager, Clint Peay. Patrick Thomas Leal (born February 21, 2003) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for New England Revolution II in MLS Next Pro. Club career He spent one year with the New England Revolution youth academy. He has secured 7 goals in 25 appearances for the New England Revolution's under-14 team during the 2016–17 season. Leal was with Belenenses SAD for a year before signing with Sporting in October 2018. In September 2019, Patrick signed a five-year professional contract with Sporting. Jacob Daniel Jackson (born April 25, 2000) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a goalkeeper for San Jose Earthquakes. Nakye Greenidge-Duncan (born April 22, 2003) is a Canadian soccer player. Early life In 2014, Greenidge-Duncan trialed with Dutch club Feyenoord's academy, after catching the club's attention during a camp run by the club in Toronto.
