2023 NHK Trophy
The 2023 NHK Trophy was the sixth event of the 2023–24 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating: a senior-level international invitational competition series. It was held at the Towa Pharmaceutical Ractab Dome in Osaka, Japan, from November 24–26. Medals were awarded in men's singles, women's singles, pair skating, and ice dance. Skaters earned points toward qualifying for the 2023–24 Grand Prix Final. ISU Grand Prix Of Figure Skating
The ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating (known as ISU Champions Series from 1995 to 1997) is a series of senior international figure skating competitions organized by the International Skating Union. The invitational series was inaugurated in 1995, incorporating several previously existing events. Medals are awarded in the disciplines of single skating, men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. The junior-level equivalent is the ISU Junior Grand Prix. Mihhail Selevko
Mihhail Selevko (born 20 November 2002) is an Estonian figure skater. He is the 2019 Tallinn Trophy champion, the 2022 Challenge Cup silver medalist, and a two-time Estonian national champion (2019, 2023). He has competed in the final segment at two ISU Championships. Personal life Selevko was born on 20 November 2002, in Tallinn, Estonia to Ukrainian immigrants Galina and Anatoli Selevko. His mother is an accountant, and his father is a computer programmer. Aleksandr Selevko
Aleksandr Selevko (born 23 May 2001) is an Estonian figure skater. He is the 2017 Egna Spring Trophy bronze medalist, the 2019 Nordics bronze medalist, and a three-time Estonian national champion (2020–22). He has competed in the final segment at five ISU Championships – two World Junior Championships (2016, 2020), two European Championships (2019, 2020) and once at World Figure Skating Championships (2021). He is the older brother of Mihhail Selevko, who also represents Estonia internationally in figure skating. Career At the 2021 World Championships, Selevko placed 24th in the short program, 15th in the free skate, and 16th overall. Romain Le Gac (born 31 May 1995) is a French-Canadian ice dancer who currently represents Canada with his partner and wife Marie-Jade Lauriault, in which capacity he is the 2022 Skate America bronze medalist. Lauriault and Le Gac initially represented his birth country of France upon partnering in 2014, winning four silver medals at the French Championships and a national junior title, and representing France at the 2018 Winter Olympics. Loucas Éthier (born June 3, 2000) is a Canadian pair skater. With his skating partner, Kelly Ann Laurin, he is the 2022 Skate America bronze medallist. Nina Pinzarrone (born 24 November 2006) is a Belgian figure skater. She is the 2024 European bronze medalist and a two-time ISU Grand Prix medalist, one of only two Belgian women to have medaled at those events.
