The 2023 LA Galaxy season was the club's 28th season in Major League Soccer, the top tier of the American soccer pyramid. LA Galaxy played their home matches at Dignity Health Sports Park in the LA suburbs of Carson, California. This season marked the club's 20th anniversary, of their home soccer-specific stadium. The Galaxy had commemorated their stadium's anniversary. The Galaxy failed to make the playoffs for the second year in a row. Houston Dynamo FC (formerly officially, but still commonly, called the Houston Dynamo) is an American professional soccer club based in Houston. The Dynamo compete in Major League Soccer (MLS) as a member of the Western Conference. Established on December 15, 2005, the club was founded after their former owners relocated the San Jose Earthquakes' players and staff to Houston following the 2005 season. José Guillermo "Memo" Rodríguez (born December 27, 1995) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for Major League Soccer club LA Galaxy. Club career Youth Rodriguez began his youth career with Houstonians FC, a youth soccer team in Houston, Texas. He joined the Houston Dynamo academy in 2011 at the age of 15. Chris Mavinga-Adebayor (born 26 May 1991) is a professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for the LA Galaxy in Major League Soccer. The MLS Cup Playoffs is the annual postseason elimination tournament of Major League Soccer. The final match of the tournament is the MLS Cup, the league's championship game.
