2023 Inter-Provincial Cup
The 2023 Inter-Provincial Cup, also known as 2023 Men's Rario Inter-Provincial Series for sponsorship reasons, was the 11th edition of the Inter-Provincial Cup, a List A cricket competition that took place in Ireland during 2023. It was the seventh edition of the competition to be played with List A status. In May 2023, Cricket Ireland confirmed the fixtures for the tournament. Munster Reds are the defending champions, having won the tournament for the first time in 2022. In the opening match, Munster Reds began their title defence with a six wicket loss against North West Warriors. The tournament was won by the Northern Knights in the final match of the tournament; it was the second title and first time the Northern Knights had won the tournament since it gained List A status in 2017. Paul Reynolds (born 23 May 1973) is an English cricket umpire representing Ireland. In November 2016, he was named the Official of the Year at the Cricket Ireland Awards. Reuben Brian Wilson (born 17 September 2006) is an Irish cricketer. He has played for Leinster Lightning in Irish inter-provincial cricket, as well as representing Ireland at U-19 level. Domestic Career Wilson began his young career at Phoenix Cricket Club in Dublin. At the age of 12 he was announced as the winner of Cricket Leinster's 2018 "Find A Fast Bowler" competition, an award previously won by Irish international Josh Little. Mark Eoghan Donegan (born 22 December 1998) is an Irish cricketer. From County Dublin, Donegan's father was a former captain of the Laois Gaelic football team. He began his education at Loughshinny Primary School in Skerries, where he first became interested in cricket during a coaching session carried out Rush Cricket Club. From there, he attended Gormanston College, before matriculating to Trinity College, Dublin, gaining a master's degree in engineering. Donegan initially joined Rush, but moved to The Hills.
