2023 Georgian Cup
The 2023 Georgian Cup was the 34th edition of the national football tournament in Georgia. The winners qualified for the 2024–25 Conference League first qualifying round. Saburtalo Tbilisi won the cup on 6 December 2023 with a 1–0 win over Dinamo Batumi, their third Georgian Cup win. FC Torpedo Kutaisi
FC Torpedo Kutaisi is a Georgian professional football club based in Kutaisi, Georgia's third largest city. 'Torpedo Kutaisi' was founded in 1946 and in just three years the club became the winner of the Football Championship of that time. Torpedo's home ground is Ramaz Shengelia Stadium. History The Soviet period FC Torpedo Kutaisi was founded in 1946 on the base of Kutaisi Automotive Plant. In 1949 the club became the winner of the Georgian SSR Championship. FC Kolkheti-1913 Poti
FC Kolkheti-1913 is a Georgian football club based in Poti. Following the 2022 season, the club earned promotion to Liga 2, the second division of Erovnuli Liga. Being registered in 1913, Kolkheti is considered one of the oldest clubs in the South Caucasus. Since the formation of independent Georgian leagues in 1990, they have spent 24 seasons in the top flight. FC Sulori Vani
FC Sulori is a Georgian football club based in the town of Vani. They currently take part in Liga 4, the forth tier of Georgian league system. The team has spent two seasons in the top flight. They play their home games at Grigol Nikoleishvili Stadium. History Sulori became champions of the Georgian Soviet league in 1969. This success enabled the club to participate in the Soviet Second Minor league the next year, which they finished in the 10th place among 18 teams. By claiming seven titles within nine years, Sulori became one of the leading members of the republican league in 1980s. In the same period twice in a row they clinched the Georgian Cup as well. When the national championship was formed, the team won the second division in 1990 and gained promotion to the tier. However, after two seasons they were relegated. FC Merani Tbilisi is a Georgian football club based in Tbilisi. They play in the Erovnuli Liga 2, the second division in Georgian football. They play their home games at Sinatle Stadium. The club is named after a hotel in Tbilisi. The club colours are all-red for home matches, and all-white for away. History Merani Tbilisi was merged with Bacho Tbilisi in July 1993 and formed Merani-Bacho Tbilisi. FC Skuri Tsalenjikha
FC Skuri, occasionally also spelled as Squri, is a Georgian football club, based in the town of Tsalenjikha. Currently they compete in Liga 4, the fourth tier of Georgian football. History During the late Soviet times, Skuri was mainly a member of the first division of the Georgian domestic league. After the 1990s the team competed for years in Pirveli Liga, the second division of national championship. Skuri suffered a defeat in the 2014–15 fierce survival battle, although still obtained the right to remain in the league after another club was expelled. FC Shukura Kobuleti
FC Shukura Kobuleti, commonly known as Shukura Kobuleti or simply Shukura, is a Georgian football club from Kobuleti, the second largest city of Adjara. After the 2022 season, they were promoted to Erovnuli Liga, the top tier of Georgian championship. History Established in 1968, Shukura played three seasons in the Soviet third division. After an independent Georgian league was formed in 1990, the club took part in II league competition before getting promoted to Umaglesi Liga for 1993/94. After one season, though, they lost the relegation battle. A decade later the team managed to earn another promotion after 2003/04, but facing severe financial problems, Shukura was unable to play in the first tier. FC Meshakhte is a Georgian association football club based in Tkibuli. Following the 2022 season, the club was relegated to Liga 4, the fourth tier of Georgian football system. History Meshakhte participated in the Georgian Soviet league and twice, in 1980 and 1981, became champions. In 1964 and 1976 they also won the domestic Cup. SFC Shturmi
SFC Sturmi ( ka, სართიჭალის საფეხბურთო კლუბი შტურმი) is a Georgian football club based in the town of Sartichala. Being one of the youngest domestic teams, they started taking part in the fifth division of the Georgian league system in 2020 and within the four years progressed to Erovnuli Liga 2. History Shturmi Sartichala was formed in early 2020 to replace FC Sarti Sartichala, dissolved in 2018, and represent the town in Regionuli Liga. FC Betlemi ('' Georgian:'' საფეხბურთო კლუბი ბეთლემი) is a Georgian football club based in the town of Keda, Adjara. The history of Betlemi goes back to the Soviet times. Since the club's revival in 2010, they have drifted between the second and forth tiers. Following a highly successful 2023 season they won promotion to Liga 3. The club plays home matches at the local central stadium named after late captain Archil Partenadze in 2015. FC Odishi 1919
FC Odishi 1919 is a Georgian association football club based in Zugdidi, the administrative centre of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti. Being a municipal club, they currently take part in Liga 4, the forth tier of Georgian league system. History On 20 May 1919 two students of Zugdidi gymnasium Leo Chedia and Pier Kobakhidze organized a first football match in the city with ''Mertskhali'' (Swallows) represented as a local team. This date is considered a birthday for football in Zugdidi. The main football club of the city has had various names, especially after 1990, and as Dinamo Zugdidi, Odishi, Zugdidi, Baia, and Mglebi has taken part in Umaglesi Liga in different seasons.
