The 2023 season was the 100th season in the existence of FC Dinamo Batumi, Dinamo Batumi and their fifth successive season in the Erovnuli Liga, the top division of Georgian football. In addition to the domestic league, this year the club participated in the Georgian Cup, national cup, the Georgian Super Cup and 2023-24 UEFA Europa Conference League, UEFA Europa Conference League. Events This section covers the period from 1 January to 31 December 2023. On 11 January 2023, Luka Zarandia joined the team on a year-long contract. The next day, the club welcomed Giorgi Kvernadze on loan from Kolkheti Poti and Nemanja Ljubisavljević on a one-year contract from FK Žalgiris, Žalgiris. On 24 January, Senegal, Senegalese forward Moussa Konaté (footballer), Moussa Konate signed a 1-year contract with the club. FC Dinamo Batumi
FC Dinamo Batumi is a Georgian football club based in Batumi, Adjara, and current vice-champion of Erovnuli Liga, the top division of Georgian football system. The club has won the league (2021), the Georgian Cup ( 1997-98) and Super Cup (1997-98, 2022). They have also earned silver medals of the league five times. In 1990 they changed the name to ''FC Batumi'' only to reverse the decision in 1994. Dinamo plays their home matches at Batumi Stadium. History Early period Prior to the formation of this club, there were some other teams existing in the city. In 1923 newly established two clubs called ''Mezgvauri'' (The Sailor) and ''Tsiteli Raindi'' (The Red Knight) merged and became Dinamo Batumi. Football was becoming more popular in Adjara later, although Dinamo participated only in the lower divisions of Soviet championship. FC Kolkheti-1913 is a Georgian football club based in Poti. Following the 2022 season, the club earned promotion to Liga 2, the second division of Erovnuli Liga. Being registered in 1913, Kolkheti is considered one of the oldest clubs in the South Caucasus. Since the formation of independent Georgian leagues in 1990, they have spent 24 seasons in the top flight.
