2023 Evian Championship
The 2023 Evian Championship was played 27–30 July at the Evian Resort Golf Club in Évian-les-Bains, France. It was the 30th Evian Championship (the first 20 played as the Evian Masters), and the tenth as a major championship on the LPGA Tour. The event was televised by Golf Channel in the United States and Sky Sports in the United Kingdom. Évian-les-Bains
Évian-les-Bains (), or simply Évian ( frp, Èvian, , or ), is a Communes of France, commune in the northern part of the Haute-Savoie Departments of France, department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Regions of France, region, Southeastern France. Ines Laklalech (born 30 October 1997) is a Moroccan professional golfer who plays on the Ladies European Tour and the LPGA Tour. She won the 2022 Lacoste Ladies Open de France on her rookie year to become the first Moroccan, Arab and North African woman to win a title on the LET. Early life and amateur career Laklalech was born in Casablanca, Morocco and started playing golf at the age of 10. She was introduced to the game by her father at the Royal Golf d'Anfa in Casablanca. Hannah Green (born 20 December 1996) is an Australian professional golfer and winner of the 2019 Women's PGA Championship. Early life Green was born in Perth, Western Australia. Education Green attended Como Secondary College and was in the golf academy at the school. Career Green turned professional in 2016. She plays on the LPGA Tour and ALPG Tour. Green has two pro-am wins on the ALPG Tour. Ayaka Furue
(born 27 May 2000) is a Japanese professional golfer. After playing on the LPGA of Japan Tour where she has eight wins, she currently plays on the LPGA Tour. She won her first LPGA Tour championship on 31 July 2022, at the Trust Golf Women's Scottish Open. Early life and amateur career Furue was born in Kobe and started playing golf at the age of 3, coached by her father. She has also been a swimmer since the age of four in parallel with golf. Ally Leigh Ewing (née McDonald; born October 25, 1992) is an American professional golfer and plays on the LPGA Tour. McDonald was born in Tupelo, Mississippi and grew up in Fulton, Mississippi. She played college golf at Mississippi State University where she won five events. She also won the Mississippi State Amateur twice and the North and South Women's Amateur. Jodi Ewart Shadoff
Jodi Ewart Shadoff (born 7 January 1988) is an English professional golfer who plays on the LPGA Tour and on the Ladies European Tour. Early life Ewart was born at Northallerton in North Yorkshire. Her family now lives in Middleham and is involved in horse racing; her father is a former jockey and horse trainer. As a child, she played football before her grandfather introduced her to golf and to her first coach. She attended the University of New Mexico, graduating with a degree in psychology in 2010. Ashleigh Ann Buhai ( née Simon, born 11 May 1989) is a South African professional golfer, who won the 2022 Women's Open, one of the major championships in women's golf. Amateur career Buhai had a successful amateur career. She was the youngest player to win the ladies’ South African Amateur Stroke Play and Match Play double. Aditi Ashok (born 29 March 1998) is an Indian professional golfer from Bangalore. She plays on the Ladies European Tour and LPGA Tour. She made her Olympic Games debut at the 2016 Summer Olympics.
