2023 Copa Chile
The 2023 Copa Chile (officially known as Copa Chile Easy 2023 due to its sponsorship), was the 43rd edition of the Copa Chile, the country's national football cup tournament. The tournament began on 8 March and ended with the final on neutral ground on 13 December 2023. Colo-Colo were the champions, winning their fourteenth Copa Chile title by beating the defending champions Magallanes in the final by a 3–1 score. Format The 2023 Copa Chile is based on a system of direct elimination with double-legged ties, similar to the Copa del Rey. For this edition the competition had a format change, with clubs affiliated to ANFA (those from Tercera A, Tercera B and regional amateur leagues) being drawn into 13 ties in a first round, with the winners advancing to the newly implemented regional stage where teams from Primera División, Primera B, and Segunda División Profesional entered the competition. Copa Chile
The Copa Chile (''Chile Cup'') is an annual cup competition for Chilean football teams. Due to time constraints and club pressure, the trophy was cancelled in 2000, but returned in 2008. Its precursor was the Campeonato de Apertura (''Opening Championship''), played from 1933 to 1950. The cup is now open to every member club of the Chilean football league system, from professional teams; ( Primera División, Primera B & Segunda División), down to teams from the ANFA: Tercera División. Since the season 2009, the winners obtained a direct Copa Sudamericana spot for the next season, however this was change starting from the 2015 edition; since then the winners obtains a direct Copa Libertadores spot for the next season. Club Deportivo Ñublense () is a professional football team based in Chillán, Ñuble Region, Chile. The club was formed in 1916 under the name of Liceo Fútbol Club. They compete in Chile's Primera División league. Everton de Viña del Mar is a Chilean football club based in the city of Viña del Mar. The club was founded 24 June 1909 after a group of Anglo-Chilean teenagers formed a football club and named it after the English team Everton who had recently completed a pioneering tour of South America. Club de Deportes Copiapó — or simply Deportes Copiapó — is a Chilean football club based in Copiapó, Atacama Region.
