2023 CS Budapest Trophy
The 2023 CS Budapest Trophy was held on October 13–15, 2023, in Budapest, Hungary. It was part of the 2023–24 ISU Challenger Series. ISU Challenger Series
The ISU Challenger Series is a series of international figure skating competitions. Established by the International Skating Union in the 2014–15 season, it is a group of senior-level events ranked below the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating. Each event consists of at least three disciplines out of four ( men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing), and is required to take place between August 1 and December 15. The ISU Challenger Series Synchronized Skating is a separate competition series in the discipline of synchronized skating. History The ISU Council decided to create the series at its February 2014 meeting. Eleven competitions were selected in June 2014. The Triglav Trophy dropped out by October 10, 2014, resulting in a series composed of ten events. Stefanie Pesendorfer
Stefanie Pesendorfer (born 31 August 2003) is an Austrian figure skater. She is the 2019 Tirnavia Ice Cup champion, the 2019 Prague Ice Cup champion, and the 2022 Austrian champion. She finished 12th at the 2018 World Junior Championships. Personal life Pesendorfer was born on 31 August 2003 in Wels, Austria. As of February 2019, she is a high school student at Handelsschule für Leistungssport in Linz. Career Early years Pesendorfer began learning to skate in 2007, at age four. After impressing in a kindergarten course, she joined Union Eissportklub in Linz. He is the 2019 Tallinn Trophy champion, the 2022 Challenge Cup silver medalist, and a two-time Estonian national champion (2019, 2023). He has competed in the final segment at two ISU Championships. Aleksandr Selevko
Aleksandr Selevko (born 23 May 2001) is an Estonian figure skater. He is the 2017 Egna Spring Trophy bronze medalist, the 2019 Nordics bronze medalist, and a three-time Estonian national champion (2020–22). He has competed in the final segment at five ISU Championships – two World Junior Championships (2016, 2020), two European Championships (2019, 2020) and once at World Figure Skating Championships (2021). He is the older brother of Mihhail Selevko, who also represents Estonia internationally in figure skating. Career At the 2021 World Championships, Selevko placed 24th in the short program, 15th in the free skate, and 16th overall.
