Ninoy Aquino Stadium
The Ninoy Aquino Stadium, now known as PSC Multipurpose Gym, is an indoor sporting arena located in the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex in Manila, Philippines. Originally built in the 1950s, it was renovated and renamed for Philippine senator Benigno S. Aquino Jr. in 1989. __TOC__ History Ninoy Aquino Stadium was originally built in the 1950s as an open-air stadium, in time for the 1954 Asian Games. By the 1980s, it had been converted into an indoor arena named Rizal Multi-Purpose Arena, in time for the 1989 ABC Under-18 Championships, which opened on January 24, 1989. At the opening of the tournament, it was renamed Ninoy Aquino Stadium and a marker dedicating the arena was unveiled. The renovation included new chairs and a new scoring system from South Korea installed by Korean technicians. Aibota Yertaikyzy
Aibota Yertaikyzy (born 28 March 2004) is a Kazakh rhythmic gymnast. She represent her country in international competitions. Career Aibota debuted into the senior category at the 2021 World Cup in Minsk, ending 15th in the All-Around, 12th with hoop, 11th with ball, 12th with clubs and 20th with ribbon. In 2022 she competed at the World Cup in Athens, taking 14th in the All-Around, 17th with hoop, 9th with ball, 11th with clubs and 11th with ribbon. Huang Zhangjiayang
Huang Zhangjiayang (born 15 February 2000) is a Chinese rhythmic gymnast. She competed in the group all-around at the 2020 Olympic Games where the Chinese group finished fourth. Career Huang began rhythmic gymnastics in 2005. Huang competed at the 2018 World Championships in Sofia alongside Ding Ziyi, Hu Yuhui, Liu Xin, and Xu Yanshu. They finished eleventh in the group all-around and did not qualify for either event final. Wang Lanjing
Wang Lanjing (born 10 March 2005) is a Chinese rhythmic gymnast. She won gold with 5 hoops at Worlds in 2023. Personal life She began the sport at around age five at Hangzhou Chenjinglun Sports School, after being scouted by coaches Zhang Rongying and Deng Wanjie, who visited her kindergarten to recruit potential gymnasts. Her dream is to compete at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. Her idol is Chinese gymnast Sun Dan who's currently coaching her. Pu Yanzhu
Pu Yanzhu (born 18 April 2005) is a Chinese rhythmic gymnast. She won gold with 5 hoops at Worlds in 2023. Personal life She began the sport in 2019 because her father had received professional training in sport and wanted her to become a professional athlete. Her dream is to compete at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. She's studying at the Chengdu Sport University. Hao Ting (gymnast)
Hao Ting (born 23 March 2001) is a Chinese rhythmic gymnast. She competed in the group all-around at the 2020 Olympic Games where the Chinese group finished fourth. Career Hao began ballet when she was six years old but switched to rhythmic gymnastics when she was eight years old. She was selected to compete for the Chinese group at the 2019 World Championships alongside Guo Qiqi, Hu Yuhui, Huang Zhangjiayang, Liu Xin, and Xu Yanshu. Guo Qiqi (born 7 August 1998) is a Chinese rhythmic gymnast. She competed in the group all-around at the 2020 Olympic Games where the Chinese group finished fourth. Zhao Yue (gymnast)
Zhao Yue ( zh, 赵樾, born 6 April 2004) is a Chinese rhythmic gymnast. She won team bronze at the Asian Championships in 2023. Personal life She took up the sport at age 7 after being scouted by coach Hu Lingli. She's studying at the Beijing Sport University. Career In 2019 she was selected for the junior World Championships in Moscow, being 13th with rope, 28th with ball, 20th with clubs and 13th with ribbon. Two years later competed at the senior edition, ending 19th in the All-Around, 14th with hoop, 23rd with ball, 25th with clubs and 22nd with ribbon. Zhao Yating
Zhao Yating (; born 12 May 2001 in Yuncheng, Shanxi, China) is a Chinese individual rhythmic gymnast. Career Zhao first tried rhythmic gymnastics at age three in Yangquan and began formal training at age six. She was scouted by former gymnast Wu Chuangrong and became member a National Elite Athlete of China in 2016. As a junior, Zhao won the all-around gold at the 2014 Pacific Rim Championships ahead of Nastasya Generalova of the US. Zhao won gold in hoop, ball and bronze in clubs, ribbon. Aidana Shayakhmetova (born 16 December 2005) is a Kazakh rhythmic gymnast, member of the national group.
