2023 Africa Cup Of Nations Qualification Group H
Group H of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualification tournament was one of the twelve groups that decided a team which qualified for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations finals tournament. The group consisted of four teams: Ivory Coast, Zambia, Comoros and Lesotho (winners of the preliminary round). As the hosts of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, Ivory Coast participated in the qualifiers with the team guaranteed a spot in the finals regardless of their ranking in the group. Their matches and results counted in determining the qualification of the other teams from their group. The teams played against each other in a home-and-away round-robin format between 9 June 2022 and 9 September 2023. Zambia, the group winners, joined Ivory Coast, the group runners-up and tournament hosts, in qualifying for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations. 2023 Africa Cup Of Nations Qualification
The 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualification matches will be organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to decide the participating teams of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, the 34th edition of the international men's football championship of Africa. A total of 24 teams will qualify to play in the final tournament, including Ivory Coast, who qualify automatically as hosts. Entrants All 54 CAF member associations entered to the competition. The seeding was based on the FIFA World Ranking from 23 December 2021 with teams ranked 1st to 42nd received a bye to the qualifying group stage, while the teams ranked 43rd to 54th had to participate in the preliminary round. The Dobsonville Stadium, formerly Volkswagen Dobsonville Stadium and also referred to as Dobsie Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium in Soweto, a suburb of Johannesburg, South Africa. Heroes National Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Lusaka, Lusaka Province, Zambia. Enock Mwepu
Enock Mwepu (born 1 January 1998) is a Zambian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Having begun his career in his native Zambia, Mwepu signed for Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg in 2017 before moving Brighton & Hove Albion in 2021.
