Jackson Makoi
Anyiarbany "Jackson" Makoi (born 3 July 2000) is a South Sudanese-Australian professional basketball player for the Sydney Kings of the Australian National Basketball League (NBL), and the South Sudan national basketball team. Standing at , he plays as a point guard. Early life Makoi was born in Egypt, however he moved to Melbourne, Australia at an early age. He moved to the United States to play high school basketball. Professional career On 8 September 2021, Makoi signed his first professional contract with Vrijednosnice Osijek of the Croatian HT Premijer liga. On 21 June 2022, Makoi signed with the Sydney Kings as a development player for the 2022–23 NBL season. He re-signed with the Kings on 28 March 2023 to a two-year deal, with the second year including a place on the team's main roster. Shaun Bruce
Shaun Bruce (born 13 January 1991) is an Australian professional basketball player for the Sydney Kings of the National Basketball League (NBL). He began his NBL career in 2012 as a development player with the Cairns Taipans, before earning a full-time roster spot in 2013. In 2016, he moved south to join the Brisbane Bullets. After half a season with the Adelaide 36ers in 2019, he joined the Kings. Early life and career Born and raised in Horsham, Victoria, Bruce attended Horsham College where he graduated from in 2008. Two years earlier, as a 15 year old, Bruce began playing for the Horsham Hornets in the Big V Division Two, joining his brother Cameron at the club. Angus Jack Glover (born 8 September 1998) is an Australian professional basketball player for the Eltham Wildcats of the NBL1 South. He is also contracted with the Sydney Kings of the National Basketball League (NBL). Early life and career Glover grew up playing for the New South Wales Country basketball team. In 2014, Glover made his debut in the SEABL for the BA Centre of Excellence and also had a one-game stint in the Waratah League for the Illawarra Hawks. Spark Arena (also known as Auckland City Arena, and formerly as Vector Arena) is a multipurpose arena in Auckland, New Zealand. The venue is located at Quay Park, Parnell, very close to Britomart Transport Centre and The Strand Station. The Queensland State Netball Centre, also known commercially as Nissan Arena, is a multi-purpose facility located in the southern Brisbane suburb of Nathan. The centre features a 5,000 seat indoor arena that is the home court of Super Netball team the Queensland Firebirds, as well as National Basketball League club the Brisbane Bullets. Dejan Vasiljevic (born 26 April 1997) is an Australian professional basketball player for the Sydney Kings of the National Basketball League (NBL). He played college basketball at the University of Miami. Early life Vasiljevic was born in Calgary, Alberta, the son of Serbian handball player Todor Vasiljević. John Cain Arena is a multi-purpose sports and entertainment arena located within Melbourne Park in Melbourne, Victoria (Australia), Victoria, Australia. 2022–23 Brisbane Bullets Season
The 2022–23 Brisbane Bullets season was the 37th season of the franchise in the National Basketball League (NBL). On 25 November 2022, James Duncan was released as Bullets' head coach after the team started the season with a 3–6 record and was replaced by Sam Mackinnon on an interim basis.
