2022–23 Brisbane Bullets Season
The 2022–23 Brisbane Bullets season was the 37th season of the franchise in the National Basketball League (NBL). On 25 November 2022, James Duncan was released as Bullets' head coach after the team started the season with a 3–6 record and was replaced by Sam Mackinnon on an interim basis. On 13 December 2022, Greg Vanderjagt was elevated to the Bullets' interim head coach. Ten days later, he was confirmed as the Bullets' head coach for the rest of the 2022–23 NBL season. Harry Froling
Harrison Michael Froling (born 20 April 1998) is an Australian professional basketball player. He had a two-year college career in the United States playing for the SMU Mustangs (2016–17) and the Marquette Golden Eagles (2017–18). In 2018, he joined the Adelaide 36ers of the National Basketball League (NBL) and earned NBL Rookie of the Year honours for the 2018–19 season. Early life and career Froling was born and raised in Townsville, Queensland, where he attended Pimlico State High School. In 2014, he moved to Canberra to attend the Australian Institute of Sport and played for the BA Centre of Excellence in the SEABL. In 2015, he split his time between the BA Centre of Excellence in the SEABL and the Townsville Heat in the QBL. Froling spent the 2015–16 NBL season as a member of the Townsville Crocodiles, playing nine games as an injury replacement for Luke Schenscher. Derwent Entertainment Centre
Derwent Entertainment Centre, also known as the DEC and known commercially as MyState Bank Arena, is the largest indoor arena in Tasmania and the multi-purpose arena is the primary venue in Hobart for large indoor functions/events. It was constructed in 1989 and is situated in between the waterfront of the River Derwent, the Brooker Highway and Tattersalls Park. At maximum capacity, the DEC can accommodate 8,600 people. For sporting events, the venue can accommodate 5,500 people. On 2 July 2020, NBL Owner & Executive Chairman, Larry Kestelman, announced that the Tasmania government had been successful in its bid for a 10th NBL team. The Sydney SuperDome (currently known as the Qudos Bank Arena) is a large multipurpose arena located in Sydney, Australia. It is situated in Sydney Olympic Park, and was completed in 1999 as part of the facilities for the 2000 Summer Olympics. Perth Arena (known commercially as ) is an entertainment and sporting arena in the city centre of Perth, Western Australia, used mostly for basketball matches. It is located on Wellington Street near the site of the former Perth Entertainment Centre, and was officially opened on 10 November 2012. Jason Cadee
Jason Robert Cadee (born 15 April 1991) is an Australian professional basketball player for the Brisbane Bullets of the National Basketball League (NBL). He is also the team captain for the Bullets. Early life and career Cadee was born and raised in the Sydney suburb of Greenacre. He attended Westfields Sports High School in the nearby suburb of Fairfield West, where he earned Hall of Fame status for basketball. He grew up playing for the Bankstown Bruins junior program. Tanner Robert Krebs (born 4 January 1996) is an Australian professional basketball player for Melbourne United of the National Basketball League (NBL). He played college basketball for the Saint Mary's Gaels. Early life Krebs was born in Naples, Florida. He moved to Australia when he was two and grew up in Hobart, Tasmania.
