2022–23 Bengaluru FC Season
The 2022–23 season is Bengaluru FC's tenth season as a club since its establishment in 2013. After spending two seasons in Goa, at a centralised venue due to COVID-19 pandemic, the club will return to Sree Kanteerava Stadium, despite the concerns raised by the athletes. This season also marks as the final season leading to the decennial anniversary of the club on 20 July 2023. Bengaluru's season commenced with the 2022 edition of Durand Cup, which also acts as a curtain raiser for the domestic season. Bengaluru Football Club () is an Indian professional football club based in Bangalore, Karnataka. The club competes in the Indian Super League, the top flight of Indian football. The club was established on 20 July 2013, and began its first competitive season in the I-League on 22 September the same year. 2023–24 Bengaluru FC Season
The 2023–24 season is Bengaluru FC's eleventh season as a club since its establishment in 2013. The season for the Blues kicked off with title defending task at the 2023 Durand Cup. Background In the previous season, the squad of Bengaluru was yet again overhauled with Englishman Simon Grayson at the helm accompanied by several fresh signings. The freshly built squad went on to lift the 2022 Durand Cup, which was the club's maiden Durand Cup title. Football Club Goa is an Indian professional football club based in Goa, that competes in the Indian Super League, the top flight of Indian football. The club was established on 26 August 2014. Nicknamed as '' Gaurs'', the club plays their home matches at the Fatorda Stadium in Margao. Brazilian coach Zico was the first manager of the club. Its marquee players for its first two seasons have been French winger Robert Pires and Brazilian defender Lúcio respectively. The team finished the league stage in the second position in their first season. Naushad Moosa
Naushad Moosa (born 10 February 1971) is a former Indian footballer who mostly worked as head coach of Bengaluru FC Reserves and Academy. During his playing days, Moosa played for East Bengal, Mahindra United, and Mohammedan in the National Football League and I-League. He also represented India from 1994 to 1998. Playing career Moosa began his football career as a player with East Bengal F.C. who he played for in the National Football League. On 9 November 1997 Moosa played a part in East Bengal's historic victory over J. 2021 Durand Cup
The 2021 Durand Cup is the 130th edition of Durand Cup, the oldest football tournament in Asia. Like its previous edition, the tournament was hosted in West Bengal, instead of its traditional venue, Delhi. The tournament is jointly hosted by the Eastern Command of the Indian Armed Forces and the Government of West Bengal. The Durand Cup was cancelled in 2020 due to worldwide COVID-19 pandemic and was reorganised in 2021 after a year gap. Gokulam Kerala were the defending champions, having defeated Mohun Bagan in the 2019 final. Mohammedan SC made their first Durand Cup final appearance since 2013 against debutants FC Goa. ATK Mohun Bagan FC () is an Indian professional football club based in Kolkata, West Bengal. The club competes in Indian Super League, the top flight of Indian football. The AFC Cup is an annual continental club football competition organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). Under its current rules, the competition is played primarily between clubs from nations that did not receive direct qualifying slots in the top-tier AFC Champions League, based on the AFC Club Competitions Ranking. The 2021 AFC Cup was the 18th edition of the AFC Cup, Asia's secondary club football tournament organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). The winners of the tournament automatically qualified for the 2022 AFC Champions League, entering the qualifying play-offs, if they had not qualified through their domestic performance. Marco Pezzaiuoli (born 16 November 1968) is a German professional football manager. Coaching career Karlsruher SC Pezzaiuoli had two stints as interim head coach of Karlsruher SC. The first stint happened after Joachim Löw resigned on 20 April 2000. Stefan Kuntz eventually took over the next season. Pezzaiuoli's second stint as interim head coach happened after Kunz was sacked on 25 September 2002. Lorenz-Günther Köstner was hired on 1 October 2002.
