2022–23 All-Ireland Junior Club Hurling Championship
The 2022–23 All-Ireland Junior Club Hurling Championship was the 19th staging of the All-Ireland Junior Club Hurling Championship, the Gaelic Athletic Association's junior inter county, inter-county club hurling tournament. The championship ran from 29 October 2022 to 14 January 2023. The 2022–23 All-Ireland Junior Club Hurling Championship#All-Ireland final, All-Ireland final was played on 14 January 2023 at Croke Park in Dublin, between Ballygiblin GAA, Ballygiblin from Cork and Easkey GAA, Easkey from Sligo, in what was their first ever meeting in the final. Ballygiblin won the match by 1-16 to 0-11 to claim their first ever championship title. Ronan Dwane
Ronan Dwane (born 1973) is an Irish retired hurler who played as a centre-forward for the Cork senior team. Born in Aghada, County Cork, Dwane first played competitive hurling during his schooling at Midleton CBS Secondary School. He arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of sixteen when he first linked up with the Cork minor team before later joining the under-21 and intermediate sides. He joined the senior panel during the 1997 championship. At club level Dwane was a two-time championship medallist with Imokilly He also played with Aghada. In retirement from playing Dwane has become involved in team management and coaching. As well as coaching Midleton CBS at various levels he has coached the Carrigtwohill senior team. At inter-county level he has served as coach with various Cork teams in all grades. He is the current manager of the Cork intermediate team. Leitrim Senior Hurling Championship
The Leitrim Senior Hurling Club Championship is an annual hurling competition contested by top-tier Leitrim GAA clubs. The winners of the championship qualify to the Connacht Junior Club Hurling Championship. Carrick Hurling are the title holders, defeating CluainÃn Iomáint by 1-12 to 1-11 in the 2022 final. Kilkenny Premier Junior Hurling Championship
The J. J. Kavanagh & Sons Premier Junior Hurling Championship is an annual hurling competition organised by the Kilkenny County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association since 1905 for the third-tier hurling teams in the county of Kilkenny in Ireland. The series of games are played during the summer and autumn months with the county final currently being played at Nowlan Park in October. The prize for the winning team is the Bob Aylward Cup. The championship has always been played on a straight knockout basis whereby once a team loses they are eliminated from the series. Éire Óg-Corrachoill CLG
Éire Óg-Corrachoill (; "Young Ireland-Prosperous, County Kildare, Prosperous") is a hurling club based in the parish of Caragh in County Kildare. The parish of Caragh includes the village of Caragh itself, surrounding townlands and Prosperous village which is situated about 3 km north-west from the village. The club is the result of an amalgamation which occurred in 1994 between Éire Óg of Caragh and Corra Choill of Prosperous. The first record of any kind of success in the Caragh parish area involves the Clongorey Campaigners. RIC records from 1890 show that Clongorey Campaigners had 38 members with Dan Kelly, John Murphy, Pat Fullam and James Kelly listed as officers. Kildare Senior B Hurling Championship
The Kildare Senior B Hurling Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as the UPMC Kildare Senior B Hurling Championship and abbreviated to the Kildare SBHC) is an annual hurling competition organised by the Kildare County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association for the second tier hurling teams in County Kildare in Ireland. In its current format, the Kildare Senior B Championship begins with a group stage. The six participating teams play each other in a round-robin system. This is followed by a knockout phase that culminates with the final match at St Conleth's Park. The winner of the Kildare Senior B Championship qualifies for the subsequent Leinster Intermediate Club Championship. The European Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) ( ga, Cumann Luthchleas Gael na hEorpa) or Gaelic Games Europe is one of the international units of the GAA (outside Ireland), and is responsible for organising Gaelic games in continental Europe. Commercials GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in Rathcoole, County Dublin, Ireland. The club is concerned with the games of hurling and camogie. History Commercials Hurling Club was established in 1886. The club was home to the many bar and shop workers who had moved from to Dublin from rural Ireland seeking employment. The club first played their matches in Dublin city centre and, like a lot of clubs at the time, they trained in the Phoenix Park. The club was less than a decade in existence when Commercials claimed its first Dublin SHC in 1895. It was the first of a record five successive titles. In all, Commercials won nine titles in the first 30 years of their existence. Successes in the lower grades was also achieved, with Dublin IHC and Dublin JHC titles being secured on a number of occasions. Carlow Intermediate Hurling Championship
The Carlow County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) ( ga, Cumann Luthchleas Gael Coiste Ceatharlach) or Carlow GAA is one of the 32 county boards of the GAA in Ireland, and is responsible for Gaelic games in County Carlow and the Carlow county teams.
