The women's lightweight double sculls competition at the 2022 World Rowing Championships took place at the Račice regatta venue. Račice (german: Ratschitz) is a municipality and village in Litoměřice District in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 300 inhabitants. It is the major rowing and flatwater canoeing venue in the Czech Republic. Etymology The name is derived from the personal name Radek, meaning "the village of Radek's people". It was originally written as Radčice. Geography Račice is located about southeast of Litoměřice, southeast of Ústí nad Labem and north of Prague. It lies in the Lower Eger Table. Lucy Coleman
Lucy Coleman (born 29 March 1998) is an Australian representative lightweight rower. She is an Australian national champion and has represented at senior World Championships. Club and state rowing Coleman was raised in far western NSW and boarded at St Hilda's School in Southport where she took up rowing. She first made state selection for Queensland in the 2017 women's youth eight which contested the Bicentennial Cup at the Interstate Regatta within the Australian Rowing Championships. Coleman then studied at the University of Tulsa in Oklahoma and rowed at varsity level. She won a silver medal in a lightweight women's double scull at the US IRA Championships in 2018. Following her return from the USA she rowed from the Sydney University Boat Club. In 2021 in SUBC colours she won the open lightweight women's quad scull title at the Australian Rowing Championships and placed second in the open lightweight double scull. Anneka Reardon
Anneka Reardon (born 4 September 1997) is an Australian representative lightweight rower. She is a five time Australian national champion and has represented at senior World Championships. Club and state rowing Reardon was raised in Tasmania and first coached in sculling by her father Mick. Her senior club rowing was from the Lindisfarne Rowing Club and the Sandy Bay Rowing Club in Hobart. After making Australian representative squads she has rowed from the Australian National University Boat Club. She first made state selection for Tasmania in the 2017 women's youth eight which contested the Bicentennial Cup at the Interstate Regatta within the Australian Rowing Championships. In 2019 she moved into the Tasmanian women's lightweight quad scull which contested and won the Victoria Cup at the Interstate Regatta.
