The UCI Continental Circuits are a series of road bicycle racing competitions which were introduced in 2005 by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) to expand cycling around the world. 2021 UCI Oceania Tour
The 2021 UCI Oceania Tour was the 17th season of the UCI Oceania Tour. Due to the restrictions resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic, the season was heavily curtailed and reduced to just two races in New Zealand, the New Zealand Cycle Classic on the 13th January 2021 and the Gravel and Tar on 23rd January 2021. Due to very low covid-19 rates, New Zealand was one of the few countries in a position to operate bike races at the time, but this meant that competitors were restricted to those living in New Zealand or able to undergo a two week quarantine before entering. Points were awarded to the top finishers of stages at the New Zealand Cycle Classic, and the final general classification standings of both events. Mark Stewart (born 25 August 1995) is a Scottish road and track cyclist, who currently rides for UCI ProTeam . Representing Great Britain and Scotland at international competitions, Stewart won the bronze medal at the 2016 UEC European Track Championships in the team pursuit. Career He was announced as part of the team's squad for the 2017 season. In November 2018 it was announced that he would ride for in the 2019 season. The Bay Classic Series (currently running as the Lexus of Blackburn Bay Crits) is a road cycling race held annually in and around Port Phillip Bay in Victoria, Australia. The race consists of both a men's and a women's competition over three stages. The men's stages are approximately one-hour criteriums (45 minutes plus 10 laps) with three sprints at 15-minute intervals. The women's stages are approximately 45-minute criteriums (30 minutes plus 10 laps) with two sprints at 15-minute intervals. Points are awarded to the first 10 riders at the finish (12, 10, 8 to 1).
