2022 Tata Open Maharashtra
The 2022 Tata Open Maharashtra was a 2022 ATP Tour tennis tournament happening on outdoor hard courts. It was the 26th edition of the only ATP tournament played in India and took place in Pune, India, from 31 January through 6 February 2022. It was a ATP 250 championship and South Asia's only ATP Tour event. This edition took place without crowds due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Champions Singles * João Sousa def. Hardcourt
A hardcourt (or hard court) is a surface or floor on which a sport is played, most usually in reference to tennis courts. It is typically made of rigid materials such as asphalt or concrete, and covered with acrylic resins to seal the surface and mark the playing lines, while providing some cushioning. Historically, hardwood surfaces were also in use in indoor settings, similar to an indoor basketball court, but these surfaces are rare now. Tennis Tennis hard courts are made of synthetic/acrylic layers on top of a concrete or asphalt foundation and can vary in color. James Duckworth (born 21 January 1992) is an Australian professional tennis player.
