2022 TCU Horned Frogs Football Team
The 2022 TCU Horned Frogs football team represented Texas Christian University in the 2022 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Horned Frogs played their home games at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, Texas, and competed in the Big 12 Conference. They were led by first-year head coach Sonny Dykes. Even though TCU lost the 2022 Big 12 Championship Game against Kansas State by a score of 31–28, they were still able to make the College Football Playoff. They were ranked #3 in the AP Poll and went up against the #2 ranked Michigan Wolverines in the Fiesta Bowl. They defeated Michigan by a score of 51–45. The Frogs will face the defending national champions, the Georgia Bulldogs at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California on January 9, 2023. The Big 12 Conference is a college athletic conference headquartered in Irving, Texas, USA. It consists of ten full-member universities.
