2022 Panthers Wrocław Season
The 2022 Panthers Wrocław season is the second season of the Panthers Wrocław team in the European League of Football, after moving over from the Polish league Liga Futbolu Amerykańskiego, LFA in 2021. Preseason Shortly after the end of the 2021 European League of Football season the franchise announced the re-hiring of head coach Jakub Samel. The first player signed for the upcoming season was former Clemson Tigers football captain Darius Robinson. In the beginning of 2022 the Panthers acquired the services of Gary Kubiak as a football advisor for players and coaching staff. On the other side, the franchise lost three already signed players Keanu Ebanks, KaVonte Turpin and Tadhg Leader as well as coach Jeff Jagodzinski to United States Football League (2022), USFL and CFL teams. The Olympic Stadium ( pl, Stadion Olimpijski) is a multi-purpose stadium in Wrocław, Poland. It is the home stadium of Motorcycle speedway, speedway team Sparta Wrocław and American football team Panthers Wrocław. The stadium has a capacity now of 11,000 people and was supposed to be one of the main pitches on UEFA Euro 2012. Franz Horr Stadium
The Franz Horr Stadium, formally known as Generali Arena for sponsorship reasons and Viola Park for international matches, is a football stadium in the south of Vienna, Austria. It has been the home ground of FK Austria Wien since 1973. The stadium was built in 1925 as the new home of Czech immigrants' club SK Slovan and had a capacity of 10,850. Named after another Czech football club which owned the ground, the stadium was called České srdce ("Czech heart") ground. Largely destroyed during World War II, each of the four stands has been reconstructed several times since. The 2022 Vienna Vikings season is the inaugural season of the newly formed Vienna Vikings team in the second season of the European League of Football. Preseason After being introduced as one of the 2022 expansion teams, the Vikings announced on October 19, 2021 to continue with Chris Calaycay as a head coach. In November, the Vikings held their first ELF Combine on November 6, 2021 and there after signed the first player with Luis Horvath. The first notable acquisition is the signing of former Clemson Tigers wide receiver Diondre Overton. He then was drafted for the 2022 USFL season by the Philadelphia Stars (2022). The 2022 Hamburg Sea Devils season is the second season of the Hamburg Sea Devils team in the European League of Football. Preseason On November 24, 2021, the Hamburg Sea Devils began to announce their first player signings, beginning with their running back Glen Toonga. The head coach and offensive coordinator Andreas Nommensen stated in December 2021 that he won't return for the 2022 season due to personal reasons.
