2022 Korea Masters
The 2022 Korea Masters was a badminton tournament that took place at Gwangju Women's University Stadium in Gwangju, South Korea, from 12 to 17 April 2022 and had a total prize of $180,000. Tournament The 2022 Korea Masters was the ninth tournament of the 2022 BWF World Tour and was part of the Korea Masters championships, which had been held since 2007. This tournament was organized by the Badminton Korea Association with sanction from the BWF. BWF World Tour Super 300
The BWF World Tour is a Grade 2 badminton tournament series, sanctioned by Badminton World Federation (BWF). It is a competition open to the top world ranked players in singles (men's and women's) and doubles (men's, women's and mixed). The competition was announced on 19 March 2017 and came into effect starting from 2018, replacing the BWF Super Series, which was held from 2007 to 2017. The BWF World Tour are divided into six levels, namely World Tour Finals, Super 1000, Super 750, Super 500, and Super 300 in order (part of the HSBC World Tour). One other category of tournament, the BWF Tour Super 100 level, also offers ranking points. Li Shifeng (; born 9 January 2000) is a Chinese badminton player. He started playing badminton when he was 6 years old, getting support from his father. Li then practiced in the Jiangxi team when he was in the elementary school, after that went to the Bayi team. At the age of 14, he participated in the National youth team training centre in Shenyang and entered the National second team in 2017. Parupalli Kashyap (born 8 September 1986) is an Indian badminton player. A former World No.6, he trains at Gopichand Badminton Academy. He was awarded the Arjuna Award by the Government of India in 2012. He created history by reaching the quarter-finals of men's singles at the 2012 London Olympics, being the first male player from India to do so. Heo Kwang-hee (; born 11 August 1995) is a South Korean badminton player who was educated at the Dankook University. He was selected to join the national team in 2012, and joined the Samsung Electro-Mechanics team in 2014. Heo was the bronze medalists at the 2012 World Junior Championships in the boys' singles and team event, and Asian Junior Championships in the team event.
