Kodai Naraoka
is Japanese badminton player from Aomori. He started playing badminton at the age of 5 with the influence of his father. Naraoka represented his country competed at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics in Buenos Aires, Argentina, won the bronze medals in the boys' singles and mixed team event. The 2018 Summer Youth Olympics ( es, Juegos Olímpicos de la Juventud de 2018), officially known as the III Summer Youth Olympic Games, and commonly known as Buenos Aires 2018, were an international sports, cultural, and educational event held from 6 to 18 October 2018 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. They were the first Youth Olympic Games held outside of Eurasia, and the first Summer Games held outside of Asia and the first to be held in the Western and Southern hemispheres. 2017 BWF World Junior Championships
The 2017 BWF World Junior Championships (officially known as the Blibli.com Yonex-Sunrise BWF World Junior Championships 2017 for sponsorship reasons) was the nineteenth tournament of the BWF World Junior Championships. It was held in Yogyakarta, Indonesia at the Among Rogo Sports Hall between 9 and 22 October 2017. Host city selection Bilbao (Spain) and Yogyakarta (Indonesia) originally submitted bids to host the 2016 competition. Badminton World Federation later awarded the event to Bilbao while Yogyakarta was appointed as host for the next edition. Arnaud Merklé
Arnaud-Sylvain-André Merklé (born 25 April 2000) is a French badminton player from Staffelfelden. He was the boys singles European Junior Champion in 2018, and also part of the national junior team that clinched the mixed team title in 2017 and 2018. He participated at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and reached the boys' singles bronze medal match losing to Kodai Naraoka of Japan in the rubber game. Career In 2022, Merklé reached his first BWF World Tour final at the Syed Modi International.
