2022 Kerry Senior Hurling Championship
The 2022 Kerry Senior Hurling Championship was the 121st staging of the Kerry Senior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Kerry County Board in 1889. The draw for the group stage pairings took place on 26 May 2022. The championship ran from 24 June to 7 August 2022. Kilmoyley entered the championship as the defending champions, however, they were beaten by Causeway at the semi-final stage. The final was played on 7 August 2022 at Austin Stack Park in Tralee, between Causeway and Ballyduff, in what was their sixth meeting in the final overall and a first final meeting in 16 years. The 2019 Kerry Senior Hurling Championship was the 118th staging of the Kerry Senior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Kerry County Board in 1889. The championship ran from 6 July to 25 August 2019. Lixnaw entered the championship as the defending champions. The final was played on 25 August 2019 at Austin Stack Park in Tralee, between Causeway and Lixnaw, in what was their second meeting in the final overall and a first final meeting in 37 years. Daniel Collins (hurler)
Daniel "Danny" Collins (born 1994) is an Irish hurler who plays as a center half forward for the Kerry senior team. Born in Kilmoyley, County Kerry, Collins first played competitive hurling during his schooling at Causeway Comprehensive School. Club Collins had enjoyed much success at club level in both football and hurling with Ardfert and Kilmoyley. As well as underage success with St Brendan's District. In 2012 he won a Kerry Minor Football title with the St Brendan's District team after a win over Kenmare District in the final. Shane Nolan
Shane Nolan is a hurler from County Kerry. He has played with the Kerry intercounty team and with his local Crotta O'Neill's club. Club At club level Nolan plays with Crotta O'Neill's. He won the County League Div 1 title in 2010 beating County Championships Ballyduff in the final. In 2011 he helped Crotta O'Neill's to their first County Championship final in 12 years.
