2022 G20 Summit
The 2022 G20 Bali summit ( id, Konferensi Tingkat Tinggi G20 Bali 2022) was the List of G20 summits, seventeenth meeting of G20, Group of Twenty (G20), which was held in Nusa Dua, Bali, Indonesia on 15–16 November 2022. Indonesia's presidency began on 1 December 2021, leading up to the summit in the fourth quarter of 2022. The presidency handover ceremony was held as an intimate event, in which the G20 presidency gavel was transferred from Prime Minister of Italy, Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi to President of Indonesia, Indonesian president Joko Widodo at the close of the 2021 G20 Rome summit, Rome summit. Nusa Dua
Nusa Dua is a resort area built in the 1970s in the southern part of Bali, Indonesia. Known as an enclave of large five-star resorts, it covers 350 hectares of land and encloses more than 20 resorts. It is located 22 kilometers from Denpasar, the provincial capital of Bali, and is administered under South Kuta District, Badung Regency. Nusa Dua means ''two islands'' (''nusa'' 'island', ''dua'' 'two'), because there are two islands in the bay of Bali Tourism Development Corporation area. I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport ( id, Bandar Udara Internasional I Gusti Ngurah Rai) , is the main airport in Bali, located 13 km south of Denpasar. Ngurah Rai is the second busiest airport in Indonesia after Soekarno–Hatta International Airport. In 2018, the airport served 23,779,178 passengers. Kodam IX/Udayana (IX ''Military Regional Command/Udayana'') is a military area command of the Indonesian Army which is responsible for the Lesser Sunda Islands. Mario Draghi (; born 3 September 1947) is an Italian economist, academic, banker and civil servant who served as prime minister of Italy from February 2021 to October 2022. Prior to his appointment as prime minister, he served as President of the European Central Bank (ECB) between 2011 and 2019.
