The 2022 Eisenhower Trophy took place 31 August – 3 September at Le Golf National and Golf de Saint-Nom-la-Bretèche south-west of Paris, France. It was the 32nd World Amateur Team Championship for the Eisenhower Trophy. Defending champion was team Denmark. Format The tournament was a 72-hole stroke play team event. Each team of three players played two rounds at Le Golf National and two rounds at Golf de Saint-Nom-la-Bretèche in different orders. The best placed teams played Golf National in the fourth round. The best two scores for each round counted towards the team total. The Albatros course at Le Golf National is an 18-hole golf course in France, near Paris. Designed by architects Hubert Chesneau and Robert Von Hagge, in collaboration with Pierre Thevenin, it is located in Guyancourt, southwest of central Paris. Facilities Construction began in July 1987, and it debuted over three years later, on 5 October 1990, opened by Roger Bambuck, Minister of Youth and Sports. The 2022 Espirito Santo Trophy took place 24–27 August at Le Golf National and Golf de Saint-Nom-la-Bretèche south-west of Paris, France. It was the 29th women's golf World Amateur Team Championship for the Espirito Santo Trophy. Format The tournament was a 72-hole stroke play team event. Gordon Sargent (born May 27, 2003) is an American amateur golfer who is currently attending Vanderbilt University. In 2022, he won the NCAA Division I Men's Individual Championship.
