2022 DTM Trophy
The 2022 DTM Trophy was the third and final season of the DTM support series for GT cars eligible for E2-SH and E2-SC-class FIA categories. It was the first season where the BOP was made by AVL Racing. The series was run by ITR, the association also organising the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters. The championship ran as part of selected DTM race weekends in 2022, commencing at the Lausitzring on 20 May and finishing on 9 October at the Hockenheimring. The series folded following the 2022 season after ADAC acquired the rights of the parent series and decided to continue running the ADAC GT4 Germany as its only GT4-series. 2022 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters
The 2022 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters will be the thirty-sixth season of premier German touring car championship and also the twenty-third season under the moniker of Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters since the series' resumption in 2000. It will be the second season of the DTM to be run under Group GT3 regulations. Teams and drivers All teams competed with tyres supplied by Michelin. Theo Oeverhaus
Theo Oeverhaus (born 18 December 2004) is a German racing driver. He is a protégé of Jörg Müller and the youngest driver ever to compete in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters. Career Karting Oeverhaus started karting at the age of 12. He mainly competed in German championships including the ADAC Kart Cup and the ADAC Kart Bundeslauf. In 2019 he finished fourth in the ADAC Kart Bundeslauf. Cup racing Oeverhaus made his car racing debut in 2020 by competing in the DMV BMW 318ti Cup. He finished the season as runner-up. DTM Trophy In 2021 made his debut in the DTM Trophy with Walkenhorst Motorsport. He took his first race win at the Hockenheimring and finished the season in sixth. Tim Heinemann
Tim Heinemann (born 23 October 1997) is a German driver. He won the inaugural DTM Trophy in 2020, driving for HP Racing International, followed by a second title in 2022. He has also raced in the VLN, Nürburgring 24 Hours, ADAC GT4 Germany, ADAC GT Masters, GTC Race and the BMW M2 Cup. He also competed in multiple Sim racing events. Parallel to his racing career, Heinemann also works as an industrial clerk for KW Automotive. The J29/DB Toyota Supra, mainly marketed as Toyota GR Supra, is the fifth-generation of the Supra, a sports car produced by Toyota since 2019. Sold under Gazoo Racing (GR) branding, it replaced the previous model, A80, which stopped production in 2002. Timo Bernhard (born 24 February 1981) is a former driver from Germany. He was a sports car driver from Porsche, but was seconded to Audi for selected events in 2009 and 2010. He is a winner of the Triple Crown in endurance racing. On 29 June 2018, he became the first person in 35 years to break the all-time Nürburgring Nordschleife lap record, set by Stefan Bellof in 1983 with a Porsche 956, in a derestricted Porsche 919 Evo with a time of 5:19.546. Selleslagh Racing Team (SRT) is a Belgian racing team, currently competing in the GT4 European Series. Mücke Motorsport is an auto racing team based in Germany, which is also known as ADAC Berlin-Brandenburg.
